"We had to abandon trip due to an emergency tried to move the booking to the following weekend. Initially hotel suggested it was possible but then decided it wouldn’t. Expedia staff were excellent in trying to assist. we understand the terms of the booking but as a frequent traveller the first time we have found a hotel operator to be inflexible which is a shame. As we weren’t able to complete the visit unable to comment on the rest of the facilities but unlikely to choose stop at a days inn...

"The property itself was lovely. However, during my two day stay, the water temperature in my room's en suite bathroom was cold, and then tepid, both for the basin and shower. The shower water pressure was also very poor. Finally, I had early starts on both mornings, and the fire alarm went off in my bedroom due to "steam" from the bathroom. We were with friends we had drink from the bar both afternoons and dined in the evening in hotel. It was our second visit to the hotel for the weekend and will return next year."

"A decent walk away from the town centre, this was ideal for a quick overnight stay. Hotel very dated and at night we got back to find security trying to keep trouble makers out the car park. However, we got a random unexpected upgrade into a suite which was exciting. Loved the double spa bath. Not bad for what we paid."
