"Absolutely stunning hotel, fascinating decor and wonderful location. Staff were friendly and helpful, allowed us to check in slightly before time and gave us a guided tour of the wonderful premises. The room was fantastic, clean and interesting decor, the bed was soft and comfortable. Overall had a great experience and would highly recommend the covenstead. "

"Lovely stay, very friendly helpful staff couldn’t do enough for us. Twin room no 4 small but very comfy, very nicely decorated, nice views to the left. Lovely bathroom with nice hot shower. We had an evening meal and breakfast there the food was lovely, service excellent. Plenty of parking, nothing much near by but that suited us. Would highly recommend and hope to return sometime. If you want to eat there at night make sure you book a table in advance, we weren’t made aware of this before hand...

"Fabulous house bang in the middle of Axminster. Lived in Axminster for 6 years and knew where this was but not realised the size of the house. Back for the weekend to see friends, etc. This is an exquisite properly. Amazing room and cosy guest lounge so you don’t have to sit on the bed in the room. Great breakfast. Will definitely return "
