The building has plenty of character and pleasant grounds and our room, in the main building, was very comfortable. Breakfast was good with a good choice of cold and hot options cooked to order. "Wow what a lovely hotel, staff so very welcoming and very helpful. Room was immaculately clean. We booked one night as we had tickets to see Fishermans Friends at the Regent Theatre. Was perfect walking distance. Great view of the waterfront from our window even though we were in a room on the side. Breakfast was really well cooked. Would highly recommend. We loved our stay here"

"El hotel es correcto, cerca de la estación del tren pero en absoluto ruidoso. A 10 minutos andando del centro de la villa por cierto muy bonita. Solo le falta un armario, lo único que hay és un colgador abierto con 6 perchas. Por lo demás las camas muy cómodas. Durante nuestra estancia de 10 días estuvieron reformando la planta baja pero no sufrimos ninguna molestia ya que no usábamos la zona comedor.Desde esta villa se pueden hacer muchas salidas radiales a parques naturales y otras pequeñas...

"The staff were absolutely superb. Nothing was too much trouble and they made my husband, granddaughter and dog very welcome. The Sunday morning breakfast was a bit chaotic. Very busy and the hot food was disappearing very quickly, so there was always a key item missing. The staff were doing their best though. Lots of ceiling cobwebs in the room!"
