"We had a very friendly welcome and after that the staff were always smiling and helpful. The room was lovely, looking out onto the courtyard, and clean. The radiator in the bathroom wasn't working (we were offered a different room but declined as we'd already unpacked) and handrails in the bath would have been helpful but we managed. "Lovely rustic pub / hotel. Room was great with the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in for some time. Kitchen was closed for refurbishment but only a short walk into the centre of the village. Good choice of cask ales in the bar. Will stop here again if work brings me back to the area"
