"We stayed at Venetia’s lovely cottage for a week, and that just wasn’t long enough! The cottage was well appointed and oh so cozy! We loved the secluded setting, yet we were close to everything we wanted to do. Going for hikes right out our front door was a bonus! And it was so peaceful to sit outside with my coffee in the morning and listen to all the birds singing! Venetia was so wonderful to work with. She was super responsive and so kind. We will definitely plan to come back sometime...

The STEEP hill on the way home provided some nice exercise.This property is in a neighborhood that consists almost exclusively of houses that either need a great deal of care or that are currently being renovated. "This studio apartment was the perfect place for my husband and I to stay for a weekend retreat. We loved the close proximity to the Williams campus and the downtown. Restaurants, cafés, and movie theater all in walking distance. Mount Greylock, where we went hiking was about 25 minutes away.The apartment has everything you could need for a weekend stay.The river is a bonus. "The house was everything we wanted and more. Loaded with space, kitchen supplies, comfort, a grill, gorgeous stone fireplace. The location on. sleepy back road in the woods was beautiful and quiet. The only complaint is that they make you take your trash with you when you go. There was a pass for the local dump which helped offset the inconvenience. Otherwise, A+"

"The place was good however the access is terrible and not described in the listing. The entrance is on such a steep incline a wheel chock needs to be used to secure a car. There is absolutely no ADA compliance.The place however was clean and quiet. It also has the ability to sleep more people than the average rental."
