"What we like is the low price through Expedia, and the free parking, and free shuttle to the airport. The room had a ceiling fan with a light that was quiet. The wall air conditioner was a little noisy and it automatically turns off and on throughout the night that kept us awake, but it does the job of keeping the room nice and cool. "The property is so beautiful. I loved our stay. We stayed with 2 kids and it felt like home for us. Loved how accessible it is to beach. Not just beach but also to ala wai walking trail. With free parking this is a jackpot. So wonderful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone."

"This hotel was one of the most overpriced properties I’ve ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived, it felt like the goal was to squeeze every possible dollar out of guests.
The mandatory resort fee was especially frustrating because many of the “included” amenities were unavailable. Museum tickets were listed as a benefit, yet some of the museums were closed during our stay. Charging guests for perks they cannot use is misleading.
The on-site restaurant, 100 Sails, charged $89 per person...

"The hotel staff was awesome. We loved the location as well. It felt like an authentic Hawaiian hotel.
The first night was the only issue we had. We were placed in a room right above the restaurant, and it was very laid until 10PM. Afterwards, we could still hear the staff moving tables, etc.
We talked tot the front desk as we were moved to a higher floor, and we got a new amazing view of diamond head and the ocean. We were very happy with the new room.
