Stay away! Host was dishonest and non-communicative, there are people living at this rental. When VRBO was contacted, they did help with getting secondary accommodations, pretty much leave you high and dry.

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU RENT!!! This home is occupied by a family that bought it 3 years ago. It is not available. My family and I drove all the way out to find out it was. It available and VRBO rented it out illegally to other families as well. We were the 5 th family to come knocking on there door. I made a police report and am fighting to get my whole refund back. And I was not able to contact VRBO on the weekend. So we had no were to go. Do not try and rent this home. If you do I promise you will knock on the door and a sweet family will answer telling you all about how they have fought with VRBO to take it out there site and you still won’t have a place to take your family. No place to stay

It was terrible, we got to the house on our first day to find out that the house had been sold in 2004 and there was a family living there. It seems that we weren't the first either. On memorial day weekend two different men showed up that had rented this house also. You need to make sure these houses are available to rent out. We've had good luck with VRBO until now

Great spot, returning guests

This is the 4th or 5th time we've stayed at this location for the purpose of riding rzrs, and we're sad that it's our last time. This house is close to the trails, large is size, we love the garage & mud room and use the w/d regularly.

Great location to trails and lake and other local attractions

Our host is easy to communicate with, the place is in a great location and nicely complimented with amenities. The area is quiet and inviting. It is the perfect location for us during our stay. We thank the host for their hospitality.

Very spacious

This place was everything we needed! We over packed not expecting this house to have absolutely everything we needed! Thanks for your generosity! The only recommendation I would say is maybe have more towels and wash cloths!

Great location

All good for our purpose. Excellent place for long dog walks in the neighborhood or the woods. Great location for off-roading. Owner was responsive. The yard could use a little sprucing up and a privacy fence would help with the neighbors choice of "music."

Went with friends to ride ATV’s

House was as expected for the most part except it could use a lot of dusting and kitchen ceiling light was full of bugs. Location was good. Only issue we had was the owner had someone(repairman) come into the house while we were NOT there and without notifying us. We were not aware of any problems that needed to be fixed. He assured us the worker was “truthful” but this should not have happened.

Our third time staying here

This was our third year renting this home in our trips to St Helen riding our SxS’s. The set up of this house is perfect. We can pull the machines right into the garage, walk into the mud room/laundry room to remove our gear and put it right into the washing machine. Having laundry and a garage together is uncommon for the area! The bedrooms are also separate giving you great privacy. Very close to the trail system too

Clean, spacious and convenient

Simple, quick and easy rental. My buddy and I were doing an ATV trip weekend. We normally stay at the motel but they were booked. This was very reasonable and much nicer. Tons of space throughout, plus a heated garage. The only negative thing I can say is unfortunately the garage door was broken when we showed up(not a big deal), I just wanted to report it to the host but for some reason the messaging was blocked and I never got a number to contact him. I'm not sure why that happened but otherwise I would definitely come back. Thanks William

Excellent Stay Up North

The property manager, William, is easy to get in touch with and responds in a timely fashion from start to finish. His home is well kept and he offers plenty of extra linens and inflatable mattresses for larger parties. Mine only included my two sons and my husband so we were set with just the beds. The kitchen is perfect and there is plenty of dishes, pots, and pans to get you through your stay and a dishwasher for easy clean up. The washer and dryer work great and past visitors have left behind some fabric softeners and dryer sheets, so we did the same and left behind a small jug of detergent. William makes sure to leave toiletries for you (tp, tampons, q-tips) available in a pinch which is always super helpful. We literally only needed to buy the detergent and we wanted to buy more tp as a way of helping out and saying “thanks for being so kind.” The outside of the property is fenced well and our dogs had plenty of space to stretch their legs. The garage is large enough for ORV/ATVs and my Jeep fit well with space, the garage door has to be manually lifted but we didn’t mind. All in all we would stay again!! Thanks William for a great stay and kind service! Hope to visit soon and use you again!
