A historic home right in the heart of St. Augustine! This beautiful duplex, originally built in 1914, consists of two private units with separate entrances perfect for a group of friends or a couple of families travelling together.
While each unit can be rented separately, this entire home can be booked as one, presenting a large home with ample space for you and your crew to spread out in. You’ll be delighted to find that Casa Doble has kept all its historic charm while offering renovated amenities to make you feel right at home. Located within walking distance to the area’s best amenities, you can stroll right out the front door down cobblestone streets where you’ll find a variety of local cafés, restaurants, shops, and entertainment. The stunning beaches that Florida is well-known for are just a short drive from the home if you’re up for a fun day trip filled with sun and sand. A spacious paved patio area is yours to stretch your legs in out back, as well as a cozy front porch with rocking chair seating where you can sip on your fresh cup of morning coffee and watch the neighborhood come to life.

This home has been thoughtfully updated to keep original features intact, connecting you with both the past and the present. In the upstairs unit, a chic living room includes a leather sofa with chaise lounge and a mounted TV. An attached sunroom is a delightful, sunny space to take your meals at the eclectic dining table with seating for 4. In the downstairs unit, the spacious living area offers a leather sofa and armchair, mounted TV, and high-top dining room table with seating for 4, making it the perfect space to gather the whole group together movies or a night of games. Both homes offer fully equipped kitchens with stainless steel appliances, coffee makers, toasters, and all the cookware and dining ware you would need to whip up delicious home cooked meals. The upstairs unit also includes an eat-in breakfast table with seating for 2, perfect for quick bites and meal prep alike.

This home comfortably sleeps 8 guests between 4 private bedrooms and a twin daybed in the living room of the downstairs unit.

Bedroom #1 includes a queen size bed and ceiling fan.

Bedroom #2 includes 2 full size beds and sitting area.

Unit B/Downstairs:

Bedroom #1 includes a queen size bed and large windows.

Both units include full guest bathrooms that feature a single vanity and glass walk-in shower.

THINGS TO NOTE:
- This home is a duplex.
- Please be mindful of small children within Unit A, as this property contains a narrow staircase and very large windows on the second story.
- These homes do not offer laundry facilities.
- Parking is available in the driveway for up to 4 vehicles. Guests are requested to please park on the left side of the driveway and not to turn into the back of the home. The detached garage on the property is for homeowner/Grand Welcome use only.

Great location

Perfect location! Home has been renovated, but needs a bit more. It’s really cute inside, very comfortable but has some paint chipping. No cleaning supplies available in house, so need to buy or bring own.

This is a great choice for a family (or two) looking to drive into St. Augustine, leave the car for the week as you explore on foot without any hassle of driving/getting rides, and then leave with fond memories when you depart!

We were so pleased with this home which was historic, but newly-renovated and so convenient to downtown St. Augustine. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go!

Perfect house for us

Nine family members travelled to St. Augustine for a wedding. Only two of us are a couple. The rest were adult cousins, my daughter and a granddaughter. This house was perfect because of the configuration of many beds and the privacy of many doors, two bathrooms and two kitchens. The house was clean and within walking distance to the wedding venue by the Bridge of Lions. The kitchen was stocked with the basics and we were able to cook with no problem. We would definity rent there again!

Great location

The perfect location for visiting historic St Augustine. Once we arrived, our vehicles never moved. Everything was within an 8-10 min walk from the house. The house was clean and exactly as described online. Like most, the door locks aren't the easiest at first but once you get the hang of them its fine. The downstairs unit does not have fans in the rooms but the upstairs unit does, in case thats important to you. The neighborhood felt safe and was surprisingly quiet given how close you are to all the entertainment. Would definitely recommend this property for families as there is a nice park for the kids to play at close by as well.
