"No staff to be seen"

"I paid £26 for the night, and felt like I overpaid. Advertisement pictures are false. Maybe that room looked like this, once. Not any more. Stains on the walls, stank of cigarettes. Bed looked like it's been slept in already. No towels provided. There was a kettle and some tea in the room, but no cups to make it in. Shared toilet and bathroom, dirty, no soap, no shampoo. Tried to raise issues with the property, but there was no answer on the phone number provided, and no reply via messages on...

"Nothing but good things to say about this hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was well presented and spotless. The staff at the restaurant were polite and courteous. Would definitely stay here again."
