South Padre Island invites you to soak up the sun on friendly beaches, and this dog-friendly condo is a great home base! Ocean views greet you from this space and the property offers guests a shared pool and hot tub too.

Padre Boulevard, down the street from your condo, is home to plenty of shops and restaurants, including local favorite Whataburger. The beach is right behind your rental, and Schlitterbahn water park is about four miles down the island.

Indulge the shared pool and hot tub - just what you're craving after a long day on the sand. The whole family's invited for a stay here, including the family dog for a small fee.

This vacation rental comes equipped with a private washer and dryer for convenient post-beach cleanups. A full kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave, and fridge, sets the scene for dinners in. Two TVs, a DVD player, and free WiFi are provided during your stay.

THINGS TO KNOW
Wristband fee is required for March for anyone over the age of 10 and under the age of 35. All wristbands must be purchased in advance of your arrival. Checks must be made payable to the appropriate HOA. Plan accordingly, as no one can enter the building without a wristband.

The location is PERFECT, the unit is LACKING

The main reason I selected this rental is because the location is PERFECT. the view of the beach is the idea. I sat on that balcony every day and listened to the ocean. SO perfect. The unit had some very nice things and some not-so-good things. The good- was fully stocked with clean towels and linens, the appliances worked well, the washing machine, stove, and microwave fridge were all clean and working, the water pressure was nice, and the well-lit building, The pool, and hot tub were very quiet and peaceful at night. The BAD= fixtures needed some major TLC, the cabinets and fixtures look like the original-super gross. The vents seem to have BLACK mold blowing out, which made my allergies go haywire. There was a rain storm and the ceiling leaked out, ruining my newspaper and barely missing my expensive laptop on the counter. Mainaince was called and all he did was take a picture and leave. No follow-up. I would not recommend this place to friends, and I would not stay again. I will spend a little extra for a nicer unit in the same area/beachside.

Not everyone follows the rules

first night, persons next door, were extremely loud and continued to party till about 3a.m. . loud music , loud converstions and laughing on the balcony. Bed was less than comfortable, extremely rigid and creaking everytime we moved or turned over. fridge did not keep items cold , only cool. shower ,tub, didnt drain well

Cute corner unit condo and the view was amazing!

The condo is on the corner so you have a spectacular view of the ocean and can see the bay by looking around the corner! Great communication with the host for any questions or concerns.

Until the toilet tissue issue

The parking process was not made clear prior to check in. Spent time driving around trying to find where to park. We were never given the beach access code. When I called, we were given the wrong code. I asked for an extra roll of toilet tissue on our last day. I was told that we would have to provide our own as per the contact?? Attendant put me on hold when I offered to pay for a roll if someone could provide. I was disconnected. Overall happy with our stay until the toilet tissue issue. Difficult to understand that we payed for a weeks stay but were limited to 2 rolls of toilet tissue per contract?

Property was awesome. Communication from management was difficult.

The property was amazing. Great view and great route directly to the beach. The pool and hot tub was clean and to our expectation. I did try and contact the property management to see if it would be possible to check in early since we arrived at the location a couple hours earlier than we planned with food that was perishable. I emailed the company several times and called with a horrendous wait time. However we had to park at the other location for a short time and swiftly got a call from the management that there was a complaint about us parking in the wrong parking area. The gentleman on the phone was extremely nice it was just aggravating that i tried to call and communicate with no luck but they had not problem contacting me about that matter very quickly.

Great location!

The 7th floor view is fabulous. The condo is dated. Cabinets, tile, kitchen, bathroom all old but useable. The “couch bed” is actually more like a futon. Definitely not for adults. Master bedroom is adequate. We had to ask for blankets for both beds but they came promptly. The pool/hot tub are both nice. Beach is literally out the back door with outdoor showers on the deck near pool. Given the price and location I would stay again. I just wish they would remodel soon.

Mixed feelings

The condo has a million dollar view! It was comfortable and had everything you need except coffee filters for the coffee pot. However, it could use some updating especially the kitchen. Again. It has an incredible view. We will definitely stay there again!!

Cheap stay

The unit is a corner unit so you have a great view. I read the reviews before we booked and I don’t know who these people were before me. But this unit needs to be upgraded all of the furniture is over 15 years old and worn out. The cabinets are very old and the varnish has come off where people have opened the cabinets over the years. But all of the furniture needs to be replaced. The bed springs squeaked every time you moved. There was not a mattress cover on the mattress so all you had was a cover sheet. I have stayed at SPI and with Vacassa many times and this was one of the units that needs some care. As I said at the start of this great view. But the price was very low. In the summer I bet it is a lot more for 4 nights. They need to take some of the money they are making and replace the items in the loving room and bedroom. If they did that it would be a good unit. Also no dish washer so if you really do not want to do dishes sorry had to wash them after every meal.

We have been staying in this Condo Complex for years, this unit was great as they had a washer/dryer & king size bed. The only item that was disappointing were the balcony chairs, they were very old & looked like they came from a Dollar Store many years ago. We used our own beach chairs

Dump with a Beautiful View

The beautiful view of the Gulf is the only positive attribute this place has going for it. The pictures online are either really old or heavily touched up. The inside of the condo was gross. The light switches had years of grimy buildup on the wall plate and switch itself. The grout on the tile is completely black and its obvious that it was white or tan at some point. The entire floor is covered with some kind of slimy film. The microwave/exhaust over the stove was broken. There was a second functioning microwave that took up valuable counter space, however, you're screwed if you need an exhaust fan while cooking anything. The fridge handles stuck out in the walkway and looked like they hadn't been cleaned since 1980. My favorite part of the kitchen was the thoughtful dishwasher soap pods and rinse pods that had been left out for our convenience... oh wait, there was no dishwasher. There was a broom, but no dust pan. I couldn't sweep sand off the floor for the entire week we stayed at the beach. I didn't dare use the washer/dryer. I was pretty sure anything I put in there would come out dirtier than when it went in. I wore flip-flops in the shower because I didn't want to touch anything with my bare skin in the bathroom. There was hair stuck to the towels, the floor, the sink, the shower, etc. The shower curtain had some weird orange stain on the inside and was way too close to the back wall. Instead of a nice curved rod, this one was installed so poorly that you constantly hit the shower wall trying to get away from the curtain while showering. The really sad part is, this place has a lot of potential. With some deep cleaning and simple fixes, it could easily be turned into a place you'd actually want to come back and visit again.

We stayed in 707. It is a great property. The location and view are amazing. The toilet leaked but some one was there to fix It in less than an hour. The washer/dryer needs to be replaced.

Everything was clean and as it should be. Plenty of towels and kitchen ware. Beautiful view! Sofa bed and king size bed. Washer and dryer comes in handy because beach SAND gets on everything. We were very pleased!

I believe the view from the balcony is probably the best view in all the condo's.

The condo is dated, the kitchen floor could have been cleaner,the washer and dryer needed to be cleaned out,and the sofa needs cleaned. The housekeepers need to do a better job. The Room was not anything to write home about, but the balcony and the view from the balcony was beautiful. The view may be why a person would want to stay here and it was cheaper than most.
