A charming little cottage on a quiet cul-de-sac, one block from Lake Michigan's Newcome beach. A mile from downtown South Haven is where you find this immaculate two bedroom, one bath cottage. Sip your morning coffee in the beautiful screened-in porch as you start your day. The front cottage offers a full kitchen, wi-fi, cable with a Smart TV, central A/C/heat, a Keurig and a coffee maker, charcoal grill and a picnic table. All you need to bring are your own bath and beach towels. There is laundry on property.

So much to do in and around South Haven; all a short drive from the cottage. You can venture out to see the South Haven Lighthouse, bike the Kal-Haven Trail, kayak on the Black River or golf at the Hawkshead Links. Enjoy the wine tastings of Cogdal Vineyards or McIntosh Orchards or simply stroll along the beach every evening to watch the magnificent sunsets. While you are in town, visit the many unique shops, bakeries, restaurants and bars.

Long weekend in SoHa

We loved this cottage! It was perfect for our small family (2 adults and 1 toddler). Easy walk to beach access - we especially loved the longer walk to Bundee’s bakery in the mornings. Thanks for a great stay!

Clean, big enough, and close to the beach

On the smaller side, but plenty of room for 2 adults. Comfortable queen beds. Clean bath and kitchen. Short walk to the beach.

Perfect cottage getaway

Comfortable and quiet. Close walk/bike ride to beach, near bike trails, out of most of the tourism hubbub (but close enough to get there quickly by bike). Felt very safe and family friendly! Not big, but definitely room enough for the four of us!

Nice Little Place

Three adults stayed here for a long weekend. While we didn't go to the beach, there was one in very close proximity to the property. It was a quiet street, well kept, neat and clean. Air conditioning worked well, telephone shower was nice. While it is small, it is perfect for a short stay when you are busy doing things.

Anniversary Get Away

This is just what my husband and I were looking for! The location was great! We took our bikes and rode to all the places we wanted to visit. The cottage was clean and tidy. Check in was so easy. Communication with the host was good. We hope to return next year!

Family fun vacatioin

Great location ! Walkable to Newcomb beach. Quiet street, cute small house perfect for three people. Well stocked , clean and comfortable beds. Only issue was the poison ivy located around the bbq area and picnic table which we did not use because we did not want to get poison ivy. I notified owner , but did not hear back. A friend who stayed here a while back also notified owner and they did not address this situation. It is right along the path so I was concerned a child would walk right through it. That was the only issue.

Cute cottage- easy beach access

This little cottage was very clean! It felt homey and quaint. It's tucked away on a dead end street, so very low traffic, which is great. Literally a couple minutes walk to the beach with easy access all along North Shore. A couple small suggestions: 1. we would have felt more secure with a chain on the door or deadbolt. The outside screened in room did not lock. Just something to be able to lock when inside for the night. 2. the sheets were washed/dried in very powerful smelling detergent. It would be nice to have no scent on them. Some folks cannot tolerate that and have allergies.

Cozy Cottage walking Distance to Beach

Cottage is located on a quaint, quiet, street that’s perfect for privacy. One parking spot located directly in front of the first cottage for each unit (front & back cottage). Short walk to the beach and 30 plus minute walk to downtown activities. My main complaint would be the outdoor lights should auto turn-off at 10pm. They are right next to one of the bedrooms and lit up the room at night, making it difficult to sleep. Rear cottage would be more accommodating. No blow dryer in bathroom so bring your own. My husbands only complaint, the single layer toilet paper in bathroom needs upgraded. Lol (Late check-out, owner was accommodating) my husband drove a cyclist to his home after he wrecked his bicycle in front of our street when we were returning from breakfast causing us to check out an hour late. Check-out is 10 am

Vacation.

Very nice but. Was disappointed there were no wash cloths and only one hand towel.I specifically called and ask about the towels.you need hangers on your shutter doors so we can hang up our bath towels I took one of the bedroom closet.

Nice location

We enjoyed our stay and the proximity to the beach. We were able to easily walk to the beach every day. The cottage was quiet and on a nice tree lined dead end street. Though small, it provided exactly what we needed. We will definitely be back.

Cozy Stay

Cozy, clean, and comfortable. Great location on a dead end street. Remember to bring your own towels. Feel the description could have been clearer about no towels provided. Found ourselves at Meijer at 9:00 at night buying towels!

Awesome girls weekend getaway!

This house was wonderful. Small but great for a 3 night stay. The beach is walkable! I wish bath towels had been provided, that is my only feedback. Also there is no dishwasher. But again, for the price and a short stay these are no big deal! Just plan accordingly.

Very clean and quiet cottage about a mile from downtown South Haven. Super tiny, but perfect for my partner and I! The beach was very close. The kitchen was very small and I wish there was a dishwasher, but otherwise it was great!

Awesome stay in South Haven

This place is the cutest little cottage and was a great place to stay during our time in South Haven. Downtown and the beach is just a short drive away and there’s a small beach within walking distance. The hosts were available with any questions we had. So glad we found this place to stay at!
