"Somehow this is one of the only hotels where we had a hot shower. Amazing room, amazing staff, and we were well taken care of in a great location! Would definitely come back here! We skipped breakfast one morning because we had an early excursion, and while we were waiting, the staff brought some food and drinks to us to make sure we were fueled for the day. We loved it here!"

"I spent a week in a Queen room at Kavil Guesthouse in early November 2025. The room was good sized, with a comfortable bed and good-quality sheets and towels. Everything worked as it should, like the A/C, Wi-Fi, hot water, etc. I particularly appreciate the drinking water available for guests to fill our water bottles, and an in-room wall-mounted fan to supplement the A/C. Kavil Guesthouse is on a quiet lane but right in the middle of the old city, with heaps of great places to eat and lots to...

"The location is very convenient, close enough to Old Town to walk everywhere easily, but still far enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we especially loved the balcony. It even had its own sink, which was such a practical and unique touch. One thing to note is that there’s no elevator. We were lucky to be staying on the second floor, so it wasn’t too bad for us, but it could be a bit challenging if you have a lot of luggage."
