"We had a great week at The Sett. We stayed over New Year, and even though we had a couple of very cold days it was really nice and warm inside the cottage. The quality of all of the furniture, furnishings and appliances was excellent and it was very spacious and light. The views were stunning and it was a very peaceful spot. The owners were great, and it was so nice to have some welcoming treats. The garden was very safe for our dog, which is our top priority whenever we look for a holiday...

"The cottage was comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean and while it was quite compact it was fine for two people. The hosts Dave & Michelle were friendly and helpful. The cottage has a pleasant rural position and is ideally located for exploring Exmoor. We would definitely come again."

"What a fantastic place to stay. The house was immaculately clean and very well kitted out. The food left in the fridge for us was an unexpected treat.The lights in one of the top floor bedrooms weren’t working when we arrived and although the owners did their best to get them repaired as quickly as they could it did take a few days. We did think the lounge would benefit from more comfortable seating and getting the tv to work was a challenge. We didn’t use the on-site facilities. Wellesley...

"We found the directions from the M5 complicated. We found that is was far easier to drive via Wedmore. The frying pan was a disaster. We did not know how to operate the cv. Calling the owner did not help as he doesn't understand that things work different on the continent. His explanations made me even more confused. The same as the shower did not work. We stopped ringing him"

"We had a lovely few days stay. Everything you need is in the kitchen, even as far as washing powder. The cottage is old so the stairs creak a bit but thats only to be expected. Beds comfortable as well as the sofas. It is a dog friendly cottage even supplying the dog bowls. The only thing we found is you have to drive to the beach to walk the dog as we didnt feel comfortable walking along the lanes."

"The Crows Nest is a beautiful period property situated in a lovely quiet location overlooking the sea. The views are stunning. Porlock weir has a lovely pub with friendly staff . An ideal location for a quiet rest. The coastal path is close by and Porlock village only 2 miles down the road. The property had all we needed for our short break . I would love to return some day . "

"Perfect for our visit. In the area for a wedding and it really filled the bill for my wife, myself, our son and daughter and our young granddaughter. Co-op store across the street. Coffee and bakery 50 feet away. Pub with meal service 500 feet up the lane. Comfortable, large, well equipped, and charming. Will stay again at the next opportunity. Great communication with the owner and easy access to the property. "
