"Standard British pub experience. Worryingly poor on cleanliness and state of room (e.g. broken shelf in bathroom). Good mateess. Host unable to find room at first. Host did not respond to message on Expedia reserving table and nothing reserved. Dinner basic pub fayre. Breakfast forced to choose between toast or cereal or full English. Good range of beer but unable to advise on local gin. Pub well used by locals and good atmosphere. Lovely situation in centre of village. Quiet."

"Lovely old country inn setting. Our room was beautiful and we had the added bonus of a separate kitchen and lounge. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was disappointing, but our breakfast the next morning was delicious."
