  • La casa ofrece un alojamiento superior, desde la espaciosa gran suite hasta las opulentas habitaciones tamaño king y una habitación doble un poco más pequeña para los miembros más pequeños de la familia.

    Amplia sala de estar, cocina y habitaciones familiares, todas abiertas al jardín.

    Ubicada al final de un camino privado en el corazón de Somerset Mendips, esta casa de campo familiar es el refugio rural perfecto que le permite escapar del ajetreo y el bullicio modernos. Con una enorme cocina familiar y un gran espacio aireado con una gran mesa de comedor familiar, gran sala de estar de doble aspecto que se abre a un jardín privado maduro con su arroyo de molino. Es el lugar perfecto para socializar, entretenerse y cenar.

    Puede disfrutar de la cocina en el interior o al aire libre, la lectura, el yoga en el gran atrio de dos pisos, tejer en un maravilloso sofá, relajarse en el jardín, acomodarse frente a la chimenea o emprender una hermosa aventura en el corazón de Avalon.

    Muy cerca de Castle Cary, Somerton, Street, Glastonbury (incluidos Pilton y el lugar del festival), Shepton Mallet y Bruton están a poca distancia en coche. Bath, Bristol, Stone Henge están a menos de una hora de distancia.

    Partes de la granja son bastante antiguas: el Molino y su arroyo están en el libro del Juicio Final, hay viejas historias locales de que la harina para las tortas quemadas del rey Alfredo se molía en nuestro Molino alrededor del año 850 d.C.

We had a lovely stay at Micheal’s place, communication was great, we had a really lovely stay and both us and the dogs enjoyed a dip in the river. We are looking forward to coming back.

A delightful cottage in a beautiful location. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. We were blessed with lovely weather but evenings were chilly so the log burner and plentiful supply of logs were much appreciated.It was lovely to sit in the sun in the garden and listen to the birds although it would have been better if at least some pathways were cut through the very long grass. The local Budgens supermarket at the garage was excellent as was the Crossways Inn , both just a short walk away.

We had a wonderful stay at this property with the hosts being most accomodating. The property had plenty of space and everything we needed and more.Its nice quiet location allowed for great dog walks but was also close to drive and explore many other interesting locations.

A lovely, peaceful place to stay with everything we needed for our comfort. The host was very helpful and accommodating. A central place for lots of great places to visit.

Incredibly well equipped kitchen and beautiful large house with beautiful garden and sitting area out of patio doors. All you can hear is bird song.You can walk from the door along the river . Bird reserves very close by for bird watching and 3 NT properties in half an hour.lots to explore. Very much recommended. Thank you

A beautiful riverside cottage as pretty in life as it is in the pictures. It is fabulously proportioned with a dining hall, kitchen, utility room, downstairs loo and lovely sitting room. There are 3 good sized bedrooms upstairs with an en-suite (no shower just a bath) and a family bathroom with a shower. The location is perfect for exploring the local areas including Glastonbury & Wells and walking the Syrens way. Our host was helpful & informative before we arrived and opened up the house for us before we arrived. I would thoroughly recommend the cottage.

I stayed here with my wife, son and in-laws for a few days whilst exploring Somerset. It's a lovely rustic cottage in a peaceful countryside location, and plenty of room for us to spread out, and we all really enjoyed our time here. Would recommend to others.

Great house in great location

We had a great stay whilst exploring Somerset & Dorset and looking for a house to buy. Hosts were very helpful, as lived next door. West Barn accomdation was roomy with great kitchen diner.

Stunning, private and spacious cottage… the owner was amazingly helpful and the cottage surpassed our expectations… simply dreamy stay! The only thing we would change would be better quality bed linen and bedding but we understand that that would be expensive, not hypoallergenic - this is not stopping us from going back though and loved every moment of it! Truly relaxing stay in a wonderful location.
