"The staff were very friendly. Last minute I had to change my arrangements and the staff accommodated this which I was grateful for as the hotel was busy at this time of year. The room was clean and comfortable. As was the restaurant and bar. Not too much noise so enjoyed a good sleep. Perfect location and would stay again. The only thing I would say is that the water pressure and temperature in the shower are not great. Other than that was a great stay. Thank you "

"The hotel was beautiful, with the add Christmas feel. We stayed for one night, for a visit to Burghley House Christmas Market, it was perfect location. Dinner and breakfast was good, however a little expensive. The room was warm, cost and had all amenities needed. The only complaint, was the bed was a little hard. We would definitely recommend a visit to the Haycock Hotel. "

"Very clean. Is a parking lot nearby 2 mins opposite church £5.80 for 24hrs. Got email with instructions to enter. You need to get code to open little lock boxes just outside front door. Is a restaurant next door, think same owner. Were friendly if need advice to enter. Might want earplugs Sunday morning as church bells ring, but i like that. Overall great place and very reasonable price. Right downtown too. "
