Our two night stayover was most delightful. Great room, good food and some lovely walks across the grounds of Castle Ashby.

"This B&B is a delight. I was greeted by the owner on my arrival and shown to the room. The annex was lovely and clean with great facilities. The setting is amazing and so peaceful. The breakfast choice was great and a plentiful cooked breakfast was offered with a selection of cereal, yogurt and fruit. This is now my go to accommodation for the area and have returned several times. First class……"

"Lovely little pub in a lovely village, can't wait to use this place again, the food, service and team there are out standing and the breakfast was excellent. Its got free parking in a small village and has a lovely atmosphere and for the price is far better than using the big chains. "

"The location sits beside the river Ouse. Beautiful location. Restaurants, shops, mall, all nearby. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping was immaculate and checked in with me daily to see if I needed anything. The restaurant was fabulous, outside seating and reasonably priced. I made this home for two weeks while I visited from Seattle. One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed and I will definitely return here when I come back again. Highly recommended!"

"The room and view facilities were fantastic. The bar and restaurant downstairs were busy, but the accommodation upstairs was quiet. The Polish lad (I think) who works there was really friendly, helpful, and quirky. The only two slight issues were that the parking was a bit of a trip but not a deal breaker (£10 per p/night) and that there was a group staying in the room next door who must have been chain-smoking as it stank out the corridor, etc. Other than that, the stay was top class and I will...

"Nice mid-range hotel with excellent spa (best treatments we’ve had, at very fair price, though no pool). Excellent dinner in restaurant & good breakfast. Our room was on 3rd floor and, being an old building, there’s no lift. Room was ok, though a ‘standard’ double, not a queen / king. There’s no air-con, but a good floor standing fan. Good sized bathroom with large shower. We will certainly return here as the spa & food are so good. "

"This rustic hotel room was just what I needed for a relaxing stay. It had a warm, cozy feel with wooden furniture and soft lighting. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the bed was great for a good night’s sleep.
