Loved the large spacious room and the added bonus of use of the spa. The four poster bed was extremely comfy if not a little difficult for a short person to get in and out of. Only downside was the lack of mirror to enable you to do your hair or makeup and the world’s smallest water glasses. A very pleasant and peaceful stay.

The hotel is lovely, the staff are very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay but could not always get access to the spa as it is a separate business and they sell spa packages if they get close to capacity of only 30 they shut the spa to hotel guests.

Checkin not the best - the young man checking our party in looked down at his screen while talking to us - so was difficult to hear what he said . Surprised that we were asked if we wanted our rooms ‘refreshed’ each day . Paying for the 3 rooms couldn’t for some reason be done in one payment - so 3 separate payments had to be done - which of course took longer .

Only three things to mention are the: 1) Rationing of the spa facilities (3 consecutive hours - not able to be split i.e. 1.5hours then 1.5hours the next day) 2) it’s a wedding venue so is very busy 3) It’s on a main road.

Booked a Premium double room for our wedding aniversary . Room was large with 2 bathrooms. One with just a bath and the other with shower and toilet. Bed was a comforatble 4 poster bed although not the easiest if you are not the tallest person to get in and out of the bed. Breakfast was a buffet, maybe not the hottest I have ever had but was still very nice. Had lunch and evening meal, menu was the same for both which possibly not ideal if you eating there twice in the same day. Both meals were very nice though. Used the spa, not the largest, the treatment room was very small ,had to squeeze to get past to get to the bed. Staff were all very nice ,I did give the young lady behind the bar a tip as she looked after us all day as we also sat on the patio in the sun and had a few drinks .(Sorry cant remember her name) Plenty of Tesla charging stations if you have an electric car.

Stayed for a one night stay in July 2026. Every thing went well from booking to check out including bar and dining. There were a School Prom and Weddings going on during our stay but these did not affect us at all. We thought the stay offered good value for money in quality surroundings. The only minor drawback was the electric vehicle charging - there are a dozen or so Tesla charging stations available on site, but if you have a standard Type 2 connector like me you cannot connect to recharge your vehicle.

Not all rooms have air conditioning check. You get a hours complimentary spa time, this did not appear on the literature check. The hotel and staff were lovely and the grounds are well maintained. There is ample car parking and electric charge points.
