Millstone Cottage

Cozy, country home with all new amenities right in the middle of everything the Shawnee National Forest has to offer! If you are looking for hiking, biking, kayaking, swimming, waterfall chasing, horseback riding, hunting, fishing, relaxing or wine sipping, you will find it all in Shawnee Country. We are centrally located to several bigger towns where you can find more places to eat and things to do as well. We think you will have a great time during your visit to our area!

We LOVED our stay at the Millstone Cottage aka: Tunnel Hill Hideout! We drove from Michigan to participate in the Tunnel Hill 100mile race and found the location to be ideal for our needs! We loved the Bigfoot Theme & SPECIAL GAME, the welcome gifts, coffee station, the cleanliness, the cozy rooms, fresh towels, plush furniture and warm fireplaces! The property was lovely, quiet and felt private even being located near hwy. Check in and check out were a breeze, the host was perfect- we give it FIVE stars and highly recommend you stay there too!

Lovley cabin

I rented this cabin for my dad and aunt to come down for Memorial Day weekend as they have done for the last 2 years. This year was the little different my dad suffered a heart attack and didn't make it the host was amazing and offered an extra night so that my brother could come in to make funeral arrangements. I highly recommend this cabin not just because it is very lovely but also because the host is amazing!

Charming Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage! The hosts left "no stone uncovered" when it came to amenities. They had snacks, coffee, water, beer, & wine for us! I have stayed at several VRBO locations & I would say this was the best as far as thinking of those items. Place was clean, beds were comfortable, & they even had an arcade which I enjoyed playing during a rainy day.

Rest in the country

Nice little house. It is quietly located in the country just off state route 147. Loved its convenient location and being outside of town. Wonderful front porch/deck. Definitely would stay there again!

Weekend Away

We were looking for a quiet retreat away. This cottage was fantastic! Clean and very nice. Perfect location for getting out in nature as well as close to town and too much further from a larger town if required. We had a relaxing weekend and would definitely visit again!

Cute cottage

We had a great time at the cottage. It was a short drive to Bell Smith Springs. There are a few things that I wish the cottage had - a little bit more space in the second bedroom and a grill. The host was very easy to communicate with and the wifi works well. If you want to use the oven, be prepared for the smoke alarm to go off even though the oven is very clean. Otherwise, it was great for us and we absolutely loved the seating options on the front deck. The entrance is a little hard to find but after getting their once, it's not hard to find.
