"Fabulous stay. Highly recommend. I’m a very picky traveller when it comes to hotels - and this one blew me away. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Staff were incredible. "Check in was terrible the gentleman nose was running and her wiped his nose with his hand and touched our passports and room key cards without cleaning his hands. As a nurse I thought this was very dis tasteful and unprofessional and a way to pass on a flu if he had a it. I would recommend staff with colds wear a mask."

"We stayed at the other location in Shimokitazawa last time we visited, and although the Shinjuku location is nice it is definitely a step below. The onsen was very busy, and a lot of people who seemed less likely to follow the onsen "rules" (brining phones inside, not washing before entering pool, etc). The elevators are very slow, and I found the room layout not very functional (we've stayed in small rooms before, this one was small and felt like the choices prioritized "design" or looking good...

"Great location with the subway station next door and convenience stores across the street. Nice area as well away from the love hotels and more sketchy area but close enough to walk to main Shinjuku and take that in. The only issue was that there tended to be sirens from ambulances or fire trucks every night which you could hear. Mostly could sleep through it but may wake you up in light sleep."

"The room was clean and well maintained. You always see the cleaning crew hard at work. The building was secure to not just let anyone come in and out so it felt very secure. The amenities are top notch, in house laundry, public bath, microwave and of course a vending machine made simple pleasures convenient. The Teppanyaki restaurant on the 1st floor is superb for both breakfast and Dinner. When I come back i’ll be booking this hotel again. Highly recommended!!"
