There are tons of cabins in the mountains, so why choose us? We are owners, not investors. There’s a big difference! We have an amazing team on the ground and we pride ourselves in exceeding your expectations (just peep our reviews!). And, we're from New Orleans so, of course, there's a little Lagniappe when you arrive!
Our six bedroom, eight bath cabin is over 4,700 sq. ft. total and comfortably sleeps up to 20 people - in beds! Our tables seat 20 with three additional seats at the bar. Here are a few of the amenities we offer:
Upon arrival you'll be awestruck by panoramic views of the Smoky Mountains. Cozy up to our two story stone fireplace and enjoy a glass of wine or early morning coffee. Step outside onto the expanded deck with built in gas fire pit. We designed our outdoor space to minimize obstructions and maximize the views. The Master and first bedroom are on this floor, both with en-suite bathrooms.
Head upstairs to find four more bedrooms, each with their own en-suite bathrooms. All bedrooms are professionally decorated and have 50 inch flat screen, mounted SMART tv’s and plenty of floor space. There's a cozy balcony with rockers off the front room too!
Downstairs you'll find all the fun!! Our game room is stocked with multicade video game, a pool table and a poker table. We also have a huge 65” flat screen SMART tv with surround sound and a pub table.
Off the game room you'll find our cozy theater room with surround sound. With plush recliner seating for 13 and bean bags and blankets galore, it's perfect for family movie night or watching a big game!
Just off the game room you'll find our indoor pool and an outdoor hot tub with views from every angle. Step outside on the lower level balcony and grab a rocker, sit back, relax and enjoy the views on our second expanded deck.

In addition to regularly scheduled cleanings, we have the cabin professionally cleaned from top to bottom twice a year to ensure it's always in tip top shape!
Our cabin is completely non-smoking including e-cigarettes. Please respect our wishes. There will be an additional cleaning/deodorizing fee if this rule is broken.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
1. What Linens are included? We provide linens for beds, bath towels, wash cloths, kitchen and pool towels. We also have lots of extra blankets and pillows.
2. What household supplies are provided? We get you started with paper towels, toilet paper, dish detergent, dishwasher pods, trash bags, and travel/hotel size soap. You'll need more for longer stays.
3. What does the kitchen include? The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to make a beautiful holiday meal. We have everything you would expect in a kitchen plus a blender, toaster, crock pot, mandolin, wok, food processor, air fryer, various size pots & pans, wine glasses, champagne flutes, a Keurig and a drip coffee pot.
4. Do you provide a grill? Yes. We have a built in grill station. You'll need charcoal.
6. Do you provide fire wood? No, our fireplaces (inside and out) are gas and electric.
7. Do you allow pets? No. Under no circumstances do we allow pets.
8. How are the hot tub and pool cleaned ? Hot tub is cleaned at after each guest and pool is cleaned weekly on Tuesdays even if the cabin is empty.
9. How far are you from The Ripken Experience? 20 minutes
10. How far are you from the Parkway? 12 minutes
11. How far are you from Smoky Mountain National Park? 15 minutes
12. When will I get the address and cabin access info? Address, door code, driving directions and helpful hints about the area will be sent in a separate email after your final payment is made and at least a week before arrival.
13. What time is check-in and check-out? You may check in any time after 4 p.m. and you must checkout by 10 a.m. on the day of your departure.
14. How do cancellations work? Cancellations or shortened stays that are made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date will be fully refunded. Cancellations or changes that are made within 60 days of the arrival date are non-refundable.
15. Do you provide travel insurance? No. We recommend you purchase of cancellation protection from CSA (this does not go through us).
16. Can I cancel if the weather is bad? Cancellations due to weather will not be refunded.
17. How is the drive up to the cabin? The roads in Wears Valley are well maintained, paved and our parking is too. It snows in Tennessee and occasionally can generate ice.
18. Do I need 4-wheel drive? It’s up to you but, as a rule of thumb for all mountain roads in this area, if ice or snow conditions are present, you should have 4-wheel drive or snow chains.
19. Is this cabin secluded or are there amenities? Both! We have views and nature all around us. The lot next door is wooded and won’t be built. Hibernation Station is a brand new 22 acre neighborhood with a volleyball court.
20. When is the final payment due? – 45 days prior to your stay.
21. Will I hear construction noise? – This is a brand new development. It is possible that you will hear some construction noise but it’s almost completely built out. Construction is limited to daytime hours and our side of the street is finished and paved.
22. What TV package / channels do you provide? – We provide Direct Stream on Roku TVs. This includes premium movie and sports channels, including HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, TMC, Starz, Starz Encore, NFL Redzone, and all the sports Networks. You can stream from apps too.
23. What type of internet to you provide? – AT&T high speed 1gigabit per second.
24. Do you ever reduce the stated prices – On occasion, if upcoming unsold dates remain, we may reduce prices for those unsold dates. That will already be reflected in the pricing that you see here.
25. Are there any days where Check-in or Check-out is not permitted? - The only 2 days that we do not allow check-in or check-out is Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day.
26. Are there wild animals? Yes, and they are dangerous.
27. Is there a minimum age to rent? Yes, 25.
Why did we build our dream cabin here? In 1966 two young New Orleanians (our late parents) decided to honeymoon in the Smoky Mountains. For years they raved about the beauty of the area. When they passed we found souvenirs from their honeymoon and were instantly flooded with smiles and wonderful memories. At that moment we took their inspiration and decided to build a cabin to continue making memories with our children. You can find those souvenirs from 1966 in a shadow box on the main floor.
