Host was very welcoming, and the cabin was excellent, pristine condition, clean, plenty of amenities, plenty of things to do for all of us, and we had everyone from 8 to 68 with us. Beautiful location, and a fantastic getaway for us city dwellers, would recommend 10/10 times.

Such a charming cabin, well stocked, and great amenities! Perfect for our family weekend getaway. The hot cocoa bar, breathtaking sunsets on the deck, fully stocked kitchen for family meals, and a word burning fireplace made for a great weekend.

Cant say enough great things about this place. First, the hosts were awesome! Very proactive with information, quick responses to questions, and had the cabin more than stocked with essentials for our trip. The house itself was extremely comfortable and clean. More than enough space for our family of 6. The location was also great for exploring northern Arizona.

Beautiful place, clean home, fully stocked.

A very spacious and wonderful place to spend a vacation. Fully stocked kitchen. All of the appliances and furnishing are of a very high quality. The backyard is wonderful place to spend time. The decks are great. Excellent hosts.

Great property but…

We really enjoyed our stay overall. The property is very very clean, well equipped, modernized and the amenities overall included are more than expected. The location is great. The kitchen and the mattresses are all very good. You can see that the owners put a lot of thought into all the necessities one could ask for. There are few things I would mention for future visitors that are not a deal breaker but should be noted:- no drive up to the house. Anything you bring with you will need to be carried down some stairs to the cabin- the living room is much smaller than the images make you believe. Again, not a dealbreaker cause you have plenty of room to lounge and other rooms are good size. But otherwise I would recommend this cabin and we would definitely book it again, especially in summer cause the outdoor patios are amazing. We went during cold season so did not spent much time out there on this trip.

Excellent Stay in Cozy Cabin

The Cozy Cabin is well-named. It is nestled on a hillside below street level, surrounded by tall trees except on the west side where there’s a beautiful view of the distant Mogollon Highlands. The inside of the cabin is very comfortable and well appointed, with a very chef-friendly kitchen, spacious dining area and cozy sitting room surrounding a large stone fireplace and chimney. The bedrooms are on the same (entry) level of the cabin, with very comfortable beds and pleasant decor. The upper level is a beautiful private space with a quiet sitting area and another large and beautiful bedroom and walk-out deck. The bottom level is a big entertainment space with games, a large TV, plenty of seating, and even a modern multi-game version of an eighties-style arcade machine (plus bunk beds perfect for kids). The surroundings are quiet and it’s an easy walk to the Crystal Point trailhead. We’ve stayed in many cabins at Mund’s Park over the years and this is one of the very best.

Fully stocked woodsy cabin worked for our small Retreat

I hosted a group of 4 adults. I loved the woodsy property! And the view from the master balcony was beautiful. I loved the decor and it was very clean. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen and more. The private bedroom downstairs was better than I thought it would be. We loved the fireplace on a cold Sunday afternoon. Communication was great. We thought the fireplace location was awkward and left the from room a lot smaller than pictured but luckily we only had 4 of us and it worked but more it wouldn't have fit us all in there to chat and hang out. I loved the balcony's and tables. About a 40 min drive to Sedona. I would definitely recommend for a family or small group!

Tremendous getaway

The cabin was absolutely perfect for my family. It was cozy and quaint. We were attempting to get away with the hopes of catching some snow and the weather did not disappoint. We thoroughly loved our stay and hope to go back in the near future.

WaterWorks

Short stay that was consistently interrupted. First full day there realized no hot water. Notified host. She replied must be the basement bathroom . At that time she was correct. I had to leave but she asked about the shower … said I would check upon return. Returned only to find out from hubs that other bathroom also water issue. A person arrived explained workers had been there earlier . She turned knobs under sink shower was jiggled then left.I crossed my fingers . Found out later still an issue but found out running shower would get the sink water warm. So notified host that that is what we would do to mitigate get on with time. Later that day knock on door .Says someone named Steve /Mike sent him. I verify who he is cause host is Sherry. He comes in complains about hurried work between guests tile issues etc does a rapid cursory says he values our time and will come back once we check out. I notify host his visit was an intrusion and that we are trying to mitigate as previously stated . Her response was we are only the way and are two hours out. I ask why are we not believed. She states she was told hot water was fine. Late @ night they arrive. .. aggressive /rude check water. State yes it isn’t getting hot . She tells person she brought to go downstairs and check . He states “I’m not a plumber.” Asks if he can call someone to come for tomorrow. I say no. Not giving up another day. Unprofessional and rude.

Nice Time at the Cozy Cabin

The home was definitely cozy for the four of us, with room to spare. VERY quiet neighborhood setting with plenty of outdoor lounging options. Although in a neighborhood, there are not many amenities nearby, except for a gas station, convenience store, bar, and amazing BBQ joint (must go). We spent 25 minutes to an hour plus traveling to hiking locations in the area. We made a couple trips to Sedona (an hour with the tourist traffic in town) and Flagstaff (25-30 minutes to a couple cool hikes. There are also quite a few options within a 10-15 minute drive. We enjoyed a nice 5 mile hike on the Munds Canyon Trail; there are two other trails off this trailhead just a couple miles from the Cozy Cabin. Communications were great, including dining and food shopping recommendations (we food-shopped in Flagstaff).

Our nights in the cozy cabin

The bedroom were toasty warm for a winter getaway. The center of a cozy is a great fireplace which yours certainly has. It only needed some dryer firewood, more kindling, and newspaper to easily get the fire going. The kitchen was well supplied with all the necessary equipment. The cocoa cups were a big hit!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, cozy cottage. The home was clean, well stocked and it was extremely comfortable. The owner goes above and beyond to provide high quality linens and keep the property extremely clean.

Owners have thought of EVERYTHING, from games for the family to blankets for quiet porch star gazing to the best stocked kitchen! Great location for exploring the area. Our trips best “home” stay. Book it!
