"The amenities of the house were as stated. The location of the property is not accessible without an offroad vehicle. The road is dirt, big bumps and ruts, and its hard to find because there is no cell service. The house is noce if you can handle all the stairs. Great place if you want aquiet, private, retreat type vacation."

"The driveway & narrow road with close neighbors was a turn off, but the cabin itself was very nice and clean. If you plan on cooking you will need your own seasonings nesides salt and pepper. Rooms are nice, beds are comfortable."

"This is one of the most peaceful trips we have ever taken. We hiked every day and spent time under the magnificentredwoods and exploring the small towns. I used to stay in Santa Cruz then visit the trees and trails. I will stay in the trees and visit Santa Cruz from now on. I needed the host's help with one minor thing. Their response was immediate, friendly and super helpful. We certainly hope to return! "

"Great location, cute basic home. Of note there are no extra blankets for your bed, or a throw to cuddle under for the couch, the mattress pads/covers were on the box spring/foundation and not the mattress itself so just a sheet on bare mattress. (Very odd!) There is a wood stove but please bring your own wood, starter and a new lighter. *of note most wood bundles were longer lengths and were hard to get into the wood stove without removing the front grate just fyi watch the length. After our stay there in early August, we agreed with the other reviews that it got too hot inside during the day without air conditioning.
