"I can’t say this was inaccurate to the description (because there was no picture of the bed...) but certain things you just take for granted, like a nice comfortable, clean bed. The bed was a chaise lounge with a sheet set that was not clear if it was recently used or if it just didn’t fit the “mattress”. The “bed” was right next to a window that had a leak and it was cold and wet. This particular night was high winds and a LOT of rain, and Th e small cadet heater and portable heater were...

"Excellent hosts! John and his wife were incredibly generous and thoughtful, they stocked the tent with snacks, farm eggs, and drinks. The tent itself had a fridge, microwave, and pretty much everything you could think of and more.
Waking up to that beautiful view every morning was the icing on the cake; like my boyfriend said, "I didn't know San Jose could be beautiful." The view of the valley was stunning. We'd absolutely stay again.
One note for future guests: we stayed in "Yurt Above All,"...

"I've never written a bad review before, and wouldn't be doing so here if the hosts had ever responded to my inquiries to them about the issue with the house: mice. First the good: the house is great in a great location. The redwoods are beautiful - 100 foot redwoods all around the house. BBQ worked great. Nice areas to sit inside and out. The property is very cool with some faded grandeur aspects (like the in-ground bar that was built next to the pool - really cool still, probably...

"We had such a wonderful stay with Todd and Kate! They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The room was clean, comfortable, and everything was just as described.
We truly appreciated their hospitality and how easy and pleasant they made the whole experience. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend their place to anyone visiting the area. Thank you so much for everything!"

"A well situated property in a quiet location in the south of San Jose. Sufficiently clean and plenty of space for a family of four. Good value, and a solid jumping off point from the South Bay."
