"We will be checking out tomorrow 16th August, one week early. Reasons being: First day the fridge leaked all over the floor and my daughter nearly slipped over! It was rectified. Our room has never been cleaned in a week, despite asking. We have repeatedly had to ask for water, coffee, sugar, towels and toilet paper. I had to tie the kitchen rubbish and left it at the front door, it was collected but no one brought us another garbage bag and the last garbage bag from the bathroom is nearly full...

"What a wonderful place to stay in Sanur. We stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage. It had a kitchen and open air living area. The bedrooms are air conditioned. The 2nd bedroom is upstairs. Wayan and the rest of the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. There is a beach with many restaurants and bars that is about a 15 minute walk away. i would definitely stay here again."

"We had a lovely stop over in Sanur for two nights - the villa was beautiful, comfortable and the private pool was such a bonus. The food from the connected restaurant Paed Thai was 10/10 with something for everyone. The people running the Villas were kind, helpful, accommodating and very communicative over WhatsApp and in person. Novita, Jerri and the whole team were lovely hosts making the whole stay so enjoyable. Would reccomend to anyone again!"

"Apel Villas was fantastic. Staff are beautiful. We had a few hiccups but they were more than rectified quickly. Description needs to change though. 1 bedroom villa does not have a rainfall shower, only a hand held shower in the bath. Breakfast only, no room service any other time. Breakfast was limited & small portions. Pool was lovely. The grounds were also lovely. Quite peaceful most of the time. The dogs in the street were quite noisy."

"Our family loved our stay at this villa. The private pool, shaded by tropical plants was such a joy. Each bedroom has a private ensuite bathroom, one with an outdoor shower (private) that was amazing! Restaurants, shops, the beach, grocery store, coffee and massage places were all with 5-10 minute walk. I would stay here again."

"De ligging is echt top, je staat zo op het strand. Een mooi huis met prima kamers. Beetje vaag rommelig paadje er naartoe. Als je iets gedaan wil hebben moet je er wel zelf achteraan zitten, zoals schoonmaak, handdoeken, reparatie. Zwembad wat ernaast zou liggen was niet in gebruik maar wordt nu volgens mij niet meer aangeboden. Wel een gezellige buiten living, eethoek en keuken."

"Have to give this place five stars because it was absolutely fantastic. Must say though, the pillows were absolutely brutal. So overly stuffed they were unusable sleep on the mattress using my sweatshirt as a pillow. But still, five stars. Cool vibe, great location, great amenities."
