"Everything was exceptional. There were so many amenities and the staff was so patient with our very limited Japanese. They even let us check our bags after checkout so we could leave later, and arranged for a shuttle to Kyoto Station! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to Kyoto."

"This hotel is located in a safe and quiet area close to Kyoto city hall, subway, and great restaurants. The room is very comfortable and has everything you need. Breakfast had lots of food choices and the coffee is excellent. Bonus-coffee and ice water is available throughout the day in the lobby and there’s an Nespresso machine in the room. I would say its on the lower end of 5 star hotels, not that its lacking in any way but the vibe is more corporate than luxury. This was the third hotel we stayed at in Japan for our honeymoon. "I liked that it was a kid friendly place! The reception was at a different location but the shuttle service that they provide is awesome! The staff is great and very welcoming!"

"Great hotel with an excellent location and a wonderful breakfast buffet. One of the reception staff members, an older gentleman with glasses, was especially helpful and made a great impression. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask for his name. On the other hand, one of the middle-aged ladies at the reception seemed to be in a bad mood and was not as welcoming. However, this did not significantly affect my stay. Overall, I really enjoyed the hotel and would be happy to stay here again."
