Twin Cave House - Oia

  • Twin Cave House is a recently renovated authentic cave house, partly carved in the volcanic rock face. It is located in Oia, on the cliff peak close to the Venetian castle, where everybody gathers to watch Oia’s famous sunset. Due to its unique location, Twin Cave House offers breathtaking views of the caldera and the volcanoes and is only a 2 minutes walk away from Oia’s main street, where all the restaurants and shops are situated.

    The cave house consists of two adjacent rooms, each one with its own entrance, but also with an interconnecting door. The first room features a double bed, a basic kitchenette and an en-suite bathroom. The second room is more spacious and offers a fully equipped kitchen, a dining/living area and an en-suite bathroom . The room also features an open loft with a double bed. Furthermore, the couch can be prepared as a single bed in order to sleep a fifth guest. Both rooms' doors lead onto the house's idyllic terrace that overlooks the endless blue of the dazzling caldera. Twin Cave House can comfortably host two couples, while offering them privacy, but is also ideal for families, or groups of friends.

    The house offers daily housekeeping service.

    The village of Oia is a traditional settlement and it is entirely pedestrian. The village offers a great variety of restaurants, shops, mini markets etc. Within the village, everything is in walking distance. You can explore the rest of the island either by car, bus, taxis or organised tours. There are public parking areas at the entrance of the village, but take into consideration that during high season parking can be challenging.

    Upon a reservation’s confirmation the host is always available for any inquiries or pre-arrival arrangements regarding transportation, excursions, special occasions, etc.
    Staying in one of Nicoletta’s houses, guarantees personalized and discreet service, which allows guests to unwind and have a carefree stay. Nicoletta herself or a member of her team is always available during your stay in order to assist you and ensure you are having an enjoyable holiday.

If you want an authentic Oia experience, you’d be hard-pressed to do better than this cave tucked away right off the square! Clean, cozy, inviting, and just a short walk from all the action. Views right out the front door are stunning. And you have the best hostess!

Super cute place, ideal location right in the center of town on the water. Nicoletta and her daughter were great. They arranged our transfers, handled our luggage to/from, arranged laundry services etc. can’t recommend enough. Wonderful stay!

What a cool property in probably the coolest location on the Island of Santorini! This is truly one of the cave houses (of many) that are located overlooking the caldera of Santorini. It is located near one of the best picture spots in all of Santorini (you know the ones in all the pictures)! The house itself is unique, one room is huge with a very nice and well equipped bathroom and great a/c. The other room is a loft (for some may be harder to get up to, so calculate that in, but it would be a blast for kids) and it had a HUGE bathroom. Our friends said it was also very comfortable. The unit had everything we needed for our short stay and it worked out great with the Host arranging someone to assist us with our luggage (which was huge help)! Lots of restaurants and bars close by and if you needed something for your stay, there was a market just at the top of the hill. All in all and really unique and nice place to stay.

Nicoletta was wonderful to work with and so helpful in answering questions and assisting with transportation. The place and location were both perfect and the view amazing! We very much enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon!

Incredible Place to Experience!

Awesome place to stay. Enjoyed our breakfasts on the patio over looking the caldron. Easy access to shops and restaurants. Very clean apartment and well equipped. Responsive host. Beautiful location!

Absolutely stunning area in Oia - right at the heart of this beautiful town. Close to all the restaurants and sites at Oia. Nicoletta was fantastic- met us on the first day and gave us a tour of the town and the home. Loved the twin caves!

Oia Twin cave houses

Santorini is a beautiful place and Oia was a great place to stay. The Twin Caves was in the middle of the best location. Beautiful views off the patio and cute small rooms with everything we needed. Communication with the host was perfect and we were well taken care of.

Lovely cave house

Wonderful stay! The cave house was very clean, the air conditioner/heat works very well, and was in a great location with not too many stairs. Communication was great, and there was daily housekeeping. Highly recommend!

Fantastic cave house

Great location, charming and large that expected property with nice bathrooms. Loved it. Perfect location. There will be lots of people taking photos, but they will envy you when you walk past them to sit on your terrace!

Great unit and location. Nicoletta was excellent and quick to respond to questions. She helped arrange for transportation from the airport and to the ferry port which made everything easy and seamless. Great view from our unit and accomodatioms were very comfortable for my family of 4. Prime location in Oia within walking distance to restaurants, shops and sights. Would highly recommend

Magical

If you want to truly experience the charm that Oia and the island of Santorini has do not hesitate to book this beautiful home. The experience of staying in one of the cave homes on the island is irreplaceable. The home is well maintained, cleaned and stocked with everything you’ll need for a wonderful vacation the host is kind and attentive making this stay that much better. I highly recommend choosing this home as your vacation spot
