This was my third time visiting KANAVA in Santorini. This place continues to amaze me, with its beautiful decor and calming atmosphere away from all the busy areas. The perfect place to unplug, relax and truly feel at home. Yiannis, the owner of KANAVA, is always so welcoming, accommodating and truly an amazing and genuine host. His recommendations for activities around the island is very thoughtful, and truly some of my best memories I have captured yet. KANAVA will forever be one of my most favorite travel destinations and places to stay - I will happily look forward to come back a fourth time, and definitely recommend this amazing space to anyone looking for a relaxing, peaceful space with beautiful surroundings and aesthetics

A new favorite travel destination

This place is absolutely unique, magical and beautiful. Everything is well thought of down to the smallest details, which makes the overall experience on a very high level of comfort, luxury and satisfaction. Mr. Yiannis, the owner and host, is exceptionally talented in making his guests feel very welcome and at home - a very warm, genuine and amazing person. You can really tell that a lot of dedication, hard work and love went into this place. If you are looking for a place to have calmness, be unplugged, and relax fully, all while being surrounded by beautiful design and aesthetics, KANAVA Cave Winery Villa is the perfect spot for you. This is a true Santorinian gem. I will wholeheartedly recommend this gorgeous and magical place any time - I know for sure, that I will have to be back, as this is a new favorite destination of mine.

I will come back - amazing place and villa!

This is second time staying at the amazing KANAVA villa - this place is truly such an amazing place for relaxation, private time, and a grounded luxurious space, in a humble atmosphere. I visited KANAVA in Santorini for the first time last year, and already knew back then that I would have to come back. I am so thrilled to still say this is one of my absolute favorite destinations and places to stay, especially in Greece! Yiannis (the owner) is truly such a wonderful and warm hearted person, always so kind to inform about Santorini, history, life, and is always generous and very helpful - truly a one of a kind and amazing person! Big thanks for the absolute comfortable stay in some of the most beautiful and aesthetic villas - a perfect place for a solo-, couple-, or group trip. Perfect for the ‘local’ feeling without all the “busy” tourism. Also an amazing mention is Mrs. Paraskevi who lives next door - she truly is an amazing lady, a “Santorinian jewelry”. Absolutely recommend a stay in KANAVA in Santorini - I will come back, that’s for sure :)

Kanava Cave Winery Villa is truly a hidden gem that offers a unique vibe unlike any other place in the world. After visiting, I found myself wanting to keep it a secret, sharing it only with a select few. Stepping into the villa feels like entering another world—one where time seems to stand still. Every moment spent here is a treasure. Imagine being in the midst of a museum, designed with every comfort for living, meticulously crafted down to the smallest details. There’s nothing superfluous here; it’s the pinnacle of design and execution. I have immense respect for Yiannis the owner, who has poured so much love and effort into creating this unique retreat. Yiannis incredibly welcoming, meeting us in the morning and surprising us with his level of hospitality. He took us on a brief tour, explaining the villa's history as it was transformed from a winery. He ensured we lacked for nothing during our stay, stocking the fridge with fresh fruits, juices, and snacks, along with plenty of water and sweets. This kind of generosity is truly unparalleled. The villa is equipped with top-notch amenities, including a lovely courtyard with a dining table. The pool with a jacuzzi and a rooftop relaxation area. The tranquility surrounding the villa makes it hard to want to leave. As I mentioned, it possesses a special atmosphere that is hard to describe. I must also mention our lovely neighbor, Paraskevi, who surprised us by bringing breakfast one morning that was far better than restauran
