Big competitions are organised here every year. There are plenty of opportunities for cross-country skiers and winter hikers. Feel like tobogganing? That is also possible here!

In summer, a visit to the pretty medieval town of Murau is highly recommended. You will find many nice shops and cosy terraces here. Besides beautiful walks in the mountains, you can also walk or cycle the River Mur Cycling Trail here. This is a famous cycle path along the River Mur right through the region.
In both summer and winter, this region is the ideal place for active holidaymakers. Experience peace and quiet here too, as this region has not yet been discovered by mass tourism.
