"We booked this hotel because it said they have airport shuttle and it is 10 min away from airport since we are leaving early in the morning, however there was no shuttle service, although they will help you to call car service. So I felt this info was incorrect and misleading. We had to take taxi into center of Florence and took taxi back, we would booked other hotel in center of the city. Other than that, People were nice , we have no other issues. "

"Room was run down and the breakfast was included in the past but not now. Staff said that the name change and rebranding was meant to attract business people but there were no working outlets in the room and no usb or other charging outlets apart from one socket in the bathroom. Very inconvenient. The place was much nicer to stay at in the past 15 years but has been let down by its owners sadly. "

"The room was clean and bed comfortable. The rooms are somewhat modern without charm but I would still recommend. Short walk to the walled city of Lucca and free public parking right in front of the hotel so very convenient. Breakfast was adequate with excellent made to order coffee. Good value 3 stars hotel. "

"A great location but would not stay here again. No lift and it's 20+ steps just to get to the lobby level. I was told numerous times there was no breakfast (never asked) and although one staff member said I could use the coffee machine, another member made sure to tell me it was really for the staff and they were letting me as a favor? The single room was not functional at all but the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was so tiny the toilet was blocked by the bidet, really bizarre. "

"The building doesn’t look like it has had any money spent on it since the 1980’s.Very shabby hotel, shame on the owners, it could be fab. Had holes in sheets and towels. No duvet it’s a 1950’s style blanket between sheets. Not hygienic these days. Dirt and dust everywhere. Cushions with stains on. One pillow each. Dining chairs in the breakfast room all broken. "Beautiful condition of hotel. Breakfast was excellent. Location was cool but long walks into Florence center but okay to beat the congestion of the city center trade off. The area directly outside the hotel gate was very sketchy especially if you are traveling solo. Once in the very narrow entrance of the property, you feel safe. "
