The Space:
Nestled in the heart of Fajardo, Casa Blue Laguna boasts the best location for your Puerto Rican adventure. Casa Blue Laguna is a private 6,200 SQ FT majestic family estate with breathtaking views of Seven Seas Beach, Palomino Islands & Icacos Island. This unique, picturesque and fun property offers 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, comfortably accommodating up to 8 guests. It features a spacious and comfortable outdoor terrace with panoramic views of the ocean and mountains, this view is simply breathtaking.
Casa Blue Laguna is the perfect place to gather your group and experience unforgettable adventures as it offers the best location in Puerto Rico’s East Coast. With a mere 5-minute stroll, you can embark on boat charters or kayak tour, immersing yourself in the mesmerizing waters of the Caribbean. Just a short drive away you can also discover the pristine Seven Seas beach, Las Cabezas de San Juan nature reserve, La Zanja nature pool, Playa Escondida and Playa Colará. For the nature enthusiasts, Casa Blue Laguna is a mere 15-minute drive from the crown jewel of Puerto Rico - El Yunque, the only rainforest in the US. Explore lush trails, chase waterfalls, and get lost in the enchanting beauty of this tropical wonderland. The property includes a pool table and a foosball table.
IMPORTANT CONSTRUCTION NOTE: ON 9/27/24 WE WERE INFORMED BY THE OWNERS OF THE UNIT NEXT DOOR THAT THERE WILL BE CONSTRUCTION GOING ON FROM MONDAYS THROUGH FRIDAYS FROM 7:00AM TO 3:00PM. THE CONSTRUCTION IS SLATED TO LAST UNTIL THE BEGINNING OF DECEMBER. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING.
SECURITY CAMERAS: Casa Blue Laguna has video surveillance cameras overlooking the exterior of the property and the patio area.
LIVING AREAS
Casa Blue Laguna is a spacious 2-level property that features multiple living rooms with ample seating areas. Once inside, you are welcome by a foyer with a sofa and 2 arm chairs, it also has a high table with 4 stools. The foyer connects to the rest of the property through the kitchen or through a small area that has a foosball table. Next to the fully equipped kitchen is the dining room that features a dining table for 6 guests and tons of natural light. The living room comes equipped with a flat screen TV and a comfortable L-shaped sofa. There is an additional family room with a sofa and two arm chairs. The property has a washer and dryer.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
With four bedrooms, Casa Blue Laguna comfortably sleeps eight guests. There are two bedrooms on each level of the property:
On the first level: There are two bedrooms on the first level, one full bathroom and one half bathroom. The first bedroom has a queen size bed and an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has 2-twin sized beds. Guests sleeping on this second bedroom will need to use the full bathroom in the first bedroom. There is a half bathroom in the hallway outside the bedrooms.
On the second level: The third bedroom has 2-twin sized beds and the 4th bedroom (the master suite) has a king bed. The huge master bedroom is a retreat in itself, complete with a lounge area, kitchenette, and an en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi. It's your private oasis within Casa Blue Laguna. The master bedroom has a flat screen TV.
All bedrooms have AC and blackout curtains.
PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY):
We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.
KITCHEN
Casa Blue Laguna has a clean, fully stocked, and comfortable kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, freezer, microwave oven, oven, stovetop, wine cooler, and coffee maker.
OCEAN VIEW TERRACE
Casa Blue Laguna has a private outdoor terrace with spectacular ocean views. This terrace is the highlight of this rental. Lounge on the comfortable outdoor sofas, dine al fresco in the outdoor dining table, or simply unwind in one of the hammocks. It's the perfect spot for making memories with loved ones.
GETTING AROUND
Renting a car is a must when staying in Fajardo. There are many activities within 10 minutes of driving distance and the roads are easy to navigate. The property has parking for up to 4 vehicles.
LOCATION
Casa Blue Laguna is located in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. You will be a drive away from beautiful beaches, national parks, natural reserves, and lots of local restaurants. There are many things to do in the surrounding areas, here are some of our favorites:
Enjoy and unwind in the spacious outdoor terrace with spectacular ocean and mountain views.
Chill at the beach! Seven Seas, Playa Azul, and Luquillo Beach are our favorite beaches in the northeastern coast and are a must-do if you are staying at Casa Blue Laguna. The villa has beach chairs, towels, and coolers for a long day at the beach.
Lunch or dinner at "Los Kioskos de Luquillo". There are over 25 restaurants in the Caribbean beachfront restaurant strip. One of our favorites is “La Parrilla”.
Explore the "El Yunque" Rainforest and National Park at Río Grande, Puerto Rico. El Yunque is an easy 30 minutes drive from the property and is the only rainforest under US Flagship.
Experience the glowing waters at the bioluminescent bay of Fajardo during an evening kayak tour.
Go on a horseback ride or ATV/UTV ride off the beaten path in Carabalí Rainforest Adventure Park at Luquillo, Puerto Rico.
Spend a day in Old San Juan. Fajardo is only a 1-hour drive away from the capital/historic city. There's a lot of history to see and great food and drinks to enjoy.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, especially during the peak months of Hurricane Season, which are July to October. Travel insurance is inexpensive and will reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, this will depend on what the coverage purchased covers. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase. Disclaimer: we are not associated with any travel insurance companies.
AMENITIES
West Indies strives to deliver top-notch service and amenities to guarantee our guests feel at home while visiting our properties. All of our properties are outfitted with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest. Our properties typically include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler.
West Indies provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include 1 set of hotel size soaps and shampoos per bathroom, 3 garbage bags, 1 roll of paper towel, 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 dish soap, 1 dish sponge, and a small amount of laundry detergent. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay.
HOUSE RULES:
Check-in time is at 4:00 pm
Check-out time is at 11:00 am
NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited. A smoking fee of $500 will be charged if violated.
NO PETS: No pets are allowed at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if violated and you will be expelled from the property.
Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please keep noise levels down during these hours out of respect to the neighbors.
The host will not pay for a hotel, vacation rental, or transportation expenses incurred because of an interruption in water or electrical service. If water or electricity is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests have the option of canceling their reservation and requesting a refund for the nights not used. Under no circumstances will we refund consumed nights.
All bookings are contingent on signing a short term rental agreement that will be sent via email. It must be signed within 48 hours of booking or before entering the property, whichever happens first.
Maximum occupancy of 8 adults/children at all times. This includes visitors.
Max. occupancy is strictly enforced and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property.
Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess. Stained towels/linens will be charged.
Do not hang towels from the balcony or windows. A $100 fine may be applied if you break this rule.
