Home was just as advertised - clean and super interesting. The location couldn't be more perfect. We walked to Golden Gate Park every day and the neighborhood is filled with every type of food imaginable. Tram and bus stops are within a block of the front door. We enjoyed every bit of our stay. Host was very accessible, friendly and helpful.

The listing is very near Golden Gate park but is on a very busy street. If street noise is a problem for you, this is not the place to stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is a great deal of stuff everywhere- plants, decorations, faux flowers, enough dishes for 4 households. The hosts communicated in a timely way. We did not have any problems so did not need to interact with them other than text communication regarding check-in. We appreciated the outdoor space for our dog. It has a fully fenced yard, but is not private as it appears someone resides in the downstairs space.

What a great property! We were attending a concert at Golden Gate Park and wanted to be close. It was so easy to walk to/from the show which was so nice because we didn't have to worry about transportation after a large event. The house is very unique- lots of furniture, lots of decor- much more stocked than the average VRBO. It was like staying in someone's home rather than a simple VRBO. There is a Starbuck's on the corner, a nice deli/market, and several restaurants within walking distance- as well as a gas station/mart right next door. We had everything we needed. The house was comfortable, the owner responded right away and was kind enough to let us check in a bit early since we arrived in the city earlier than expected. The kids slept in the living room and it was a bit loud- the house is on a busy street, but it was fine. We felt safe and there was plenty of room for 7 of us. We had a great experience and would definitely stay again.

Ideal location for the Dead shows @ Polo Fields. Beautiful traditional San Francisco Victorian house with parking, a private yard & well stocked kitchen. Super nice hosts are quick to respond to questions & EZ to work with. Our favorite VRBO to date!

Great location, walking distance to many different attractions with nature. The house is beautiful, everything was just like the pictures online. The owners are super helpful, very nice and we didn’t have to pay an extra fee for our service dogs. Definitely we will love to stay again for our next visit to the bay city.

Felt like home

We had a family emergency with a relative being hospitalized at UCSF. Finding somewhere close by and could accommodate incoming family members was high on the list. We found this amazing home quickly and it was so easy to stay. The beds were cozy and helped us get some much needed stress free rest. The whole place was clean and comfortable. Check out was easy. The hosts were available to answer any questions we had during our stay. 10/10 recommend!

Perfection in every way

My family stayed here on our California coast trip (kids ages 11, 15 and 17), and this eclectic, beautiful, clean, easy to navigate home was perfection. It is exceptionally clean and a PERFECT location in a cool neighborhood. The check in and our process was seamless. Highly recommend! And the piano was a beautiful bonus. The couches in the living room were so comfortable we now want to buy them for our house.

Close to Park - Lovely Host

Sharon was very helpful and looked out for us. She checked in to make sure we were doing well and enjoying our stay. The house is very comfortable and a short walk to Golden Gate Park, shops, and restaurants.

Family Spring Break - 2025

Traveled out to see our daughter who goes to school nearby for her spring break. The location is great - so near the park, 3 minute walk. The tennis courts are a 25 minute stroll, the ocean about the same. It was great having a full kitchen - all the needed appliances plus some, organized and easy to find. The patio is where I got most of my work done - peaceful. One note - the front of the home is on 19th Ave/ Highway 1 - if you are troubled by traffic noise - not the right fit. Internet - TV's - streaming - all worked well. Awesome having the bedrooms upstairs too - able to find peace when needed!

Elegant stay in SF

The home is gorgeous. I found the temperature to be too cold, but my husband was happy. Generous offerings in kitchen and bath. We would stay again—I just might bring more layers.

Perfect stay …

Our stay in this lovely home was just perfect for the 4 of us. We loved being able to park the car and be within walking distance of Golden Gate Park, many restaurants and Land’s End for a sunset hike. We had everything we needed, the beds were very comfortable and so was the living area. The owner provided all information we needed in advance and was responsive to texts also. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great!!

We stayed here for several days while visiting San Francisco. The location was perfect…short walk to Golden Gate Park and a short drive/uber into the downtown area. It was on a main road which was always busy so be prepared for noise but it did not bother us at all. The house was well stocked with everything you would want/need and its eclectic style had treasures in every corner!! The hosts were kind and responsive. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we would definitely stay here again!!

Great spot in the Sunset District

Spent a great weekend at this spectacular home in the avenues of San Francisco. It's a vintage building with a lot of charm that has been updated with a real flair. Spacious, well furnished, lots of room to hang out and even a sizable backyard with patio furniture. The location is great, right in the heart of the Sunset District, literally a few steps from Golden Gate Park and innumerable shops and restaurants.

Stay vacation.

My friend was in town, and my place is really small so I decided to rent this fabulous house. We are both born and raised in big houses with big kitchens and a place to sit outside to eat. We had breakfast on the balcony and the kitchen was just right, my friend wanted an induction stove so that is what we got. The stove top is an induction stove and it’s pretty nice. We had everything that we needed plus some and really enjoyed our stay. There is one parking space and it is right off of a very busy street. We could not hear the traffic downstairs while watching TV. The only time it was a little noisy. It was the upstairs bedroom facing the street. But we sleep pretty well so it wasn’t a problem. The back bedroom facing the yard was very nice. The noise was really not an issue unless you have a hard time falling asleep and everything else was just perfect. Very clean and very nice. I will rent there again if I had a question I just texted the support in the answered right away. That was super nice to know that I had help with information I needed.

Great house to visit SF and surroundings

My family and I came to San Francisco for a reunion and some quick touring. This house had enough space for all 7 of us (the boys didn't mind sleeping on the couches), was conveniently located next to Golden Gate Park, 6 miles away from the Presidio and Wharf areas, and far enough away that driving south to San Carlos and San Jose were no hassle. The house was beautiful, the neighborhood was great - we ate at Lomo Libre and Hole in the Wall Pizza across the street. The only minor issue was that while this house was smoke-free, it seems like the adjacent house had smoker(s) and the smell would waft in occasionally. Not a big deal, but if anyone is really trying to avoid smoke, that's a thing. Next time we visit San Francisco I am definitely looking to stay here!

Communicate with the owner not the manager

I loved staying here. The house was fully stocked with amenities and antiques. It was absolutely beautiful. It is on a main street so it gets heavy traffic noise. This is a 200 yr old home so it isn't well insulated from sound or cold weather. We did have to run the mini split and the individually adjusted baseboard heaters in the bedrooms upstairs. I would recommend staying here but communicate directly with the home owner. Communicating with the property manager was useless. They have automated responses for every email you send. They take a long time to respond, sometimes days, and when you do replay to that response you get another autoreply, the same you got before. Once I was in touch with the property owner it went very smoothly. He promptly addressed any issue and was very accommodating. He communicated quickly and clearly. Communicate with him, Not RedAwning.

Absolutely Perfect!

We stay with VRBOs often, but this one really takes the cake. The location was unbelievable - Just half a block from the south entrance of Golden Gate Park! We walked the 2 miles through the park to the beach every day, and it was my favorite part about the trip. Walking a block south got us on the Muni bus stop and train. We could get to anywhere from here extremely easily. There is a Starbucks across the street! And world famous restaurants within two blocks (i.e. King of Noodles). As well as 24 hour convenient stores and bodegas on the corner. We did travel all over the city, but you could easily stay in this house and go to the park and eat amazing food for every meal. We used the kitchen though! Whole Foods was just a short N Judah Muni ride away. The house had everything we needed to make meals at home. I was surprised to find a dishwasher as I had somehow missed it in the description. It was such a nice surprise! There is no washer and dryer, but the closest laundromat is 2 blocks away on Irving. It was easy to get to and they have super washers, so the whole experience was over in 45 minutes. The house was so tidy and clean. There are notes around the house for anything you need, but I also felt like the property managers provided really good information well in advance, so everything was covered long before we even arrived. Two things that really mattered to us were the driveway and the back yard. Our car was completely safe and having a place to park made it so easy. The backyard was great for the dog. It's entirely fenced in, so no worrying about an escaping dog. The furniture was all very beautiful and comfortable. The beds were especially comfortable. The water was hot with good pressure and the upstairs bathroom has a full cabinet for storing your toiletries. In short, this was just a delightful place to call home for 9 days and the perfect home base for exploring the city and the Golden Gate Park. We loved it and can't wait to return!

All the character of San Francisco in a great location!

This property is super convenient to walking the amazing Golden Gate Park. Public transit is nice and easy within walking distance. House is appointed wonderfully and has everything you will need and more! Very clean and inviting and perfect for the end of our West Coast Road trip! Highly recommend!
