"At the end of our Sri Lanka holiday we decided to spend a bit more on our Unawatuna hotel & were not disappointed. We had large rooms with loads of space, kitchen, really comfy beds, excellent views from our balconies. The staff were helpful & the pool lovely. We did book nicer rooms that some there & didn't eat so can't comment on the food. It's a bit of a walk or a short Tuk Tuk ride to the main tourist area or a beach but that also means it's quiet there."

"We loved staying here, we extended our stay by nearly a week! The rooms are clean and comfortable. The view of the ocean is fantastic, and I've never seen such beautiful sunsets. The kitchen was simple, but had everything we needed. The staff and owners were lovely. I want to thank Sandy specifically because when my partner injured her foot, Sandy helped tremendously. "I can't imagine there being a better place in Galle. Peaceful. Quiet. Lovely owner. She was so nice to us, my wife was pregnant and even let us stay a bit longer whilst we waited for our taxi as she wasn't feeling well. What a lovely human being! "Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Auf unsere Anfrage hin wurde das Zimmer problemlos gewechselt, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Das neue Zimmer war sehr modern, sauber und neuwertig. Das Frühstück war für sri-lankische Verhältnisse gut und ausreichend. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastfreundschaft der Gastgeber. Insgesamt haben wir uns wohlgefühlt und können die Unterkunft gerne weiterempfehlen."

"Staff was wonderful, highly recommend. Rooms were cleaned daily, the rooms were functional, the property it self is a bit old, but still very beautiful. Private secluded beaches, you just cant beat the views and how private it is. I initially only had the reservation for 3 days, but extended it to a week. Highly recommend! "

"I don’t even know where to begin to describe this place. It felt like home from the very moment we arrived and were warmly welcomed by the amazing staff. Our room was spotless, the bed incredibly comfortable, and we were even upgraded to a larger room. Breakfast and coffee was delicious.
