"I cannot fault the way the apartment is 'kitted out'. There was everything you needed even down to disposable slippers. Nice to have heaters for a very cold night and morning. The shower is great with an overhead rain shower. The owners always responded immediately to any questions I sent which is good. My only tiny criticism is that there was an overwhelming smell of very pungent air fresheners but obviously, most people wouldn't find that a problem. I would definitely recommend this...

"Perfect location for arriving by train and exploring york. Staff were all incredibly helpful, polite snd professional. The option of being able to leave your bags with the hotel before and after check was great. Room was ok, bed was adequate for our night stay. the hotel does recognise that not all rooms are perfect as it is a older building. "

Unfortunately voices were audible through the walls on one side of the room as were music and footsteps from the dinng area below but otherwise I was satisfield with the accommodation. Having an on-site restaurant was a handy option for the first night although I did venture out on my second evening for tea at a local restaurant.
