"We wanted a place on a lake in the early fall and this did not disappoint. We kayaked (nice newer kayaks), built fires, napped and read; very isolated. The house was clean and had good kitchen supply including wine opener, knives and extras like dw detergent, paper towels, salt and pepper etc. I recommend for an easy drivable getaway from multiple east coast cities. Warning: the house next door shares the lakefront. Luckily no one was renting while we were there but you should be aware."

"We have never been to the Catskills before and i found this place and I am so glad I did. This house is on a very quiet dead-end street and across the street was the lake. It was just so peaceful and relaxing. The house was very comfortable and clean. We loved waking home or coming home to find deer in the yard. They are like pets. Not afraid of us at all.
