"I couldn’t watch the tv the first night till I pull out the plug then it worked I was in #9 my brother was in #1 his air conditioning didn’t work at all blowing hot air for 2 nights when I got in my room the first day I step on a Roach in the bathroom lucky I had a slipper on. Other then that every thing was good"

"I liked the fact the ocean front rooms had a beautiful view of the bay. The only downfall I had a problem with was the cleanliness of the kitchen. It smelled like rat piss, the shower smelled of mildew. Other than that the stay was perfect and convenient for me and my family."

Moved on the front desk to Registration desk. Greeted with lots of ALOHA. Got great service and the ocean view room. "Absolutely lovely property at the very top of a hill overlooking Hilo waterfront. The owners are very friendly and helpful if you need them. Otherwise, you never know they’re there. Perfect get away. Close to everything."

"We had the ocean view room on the second floor. It was newly renovated, with a beautiful private bathroom and beautiful wood work throughout. We were a bit spoiled when we were there, since there were no other guests on our floor during our stay. The kitchen and living room were spacious and well equipped, and Josh was always there to help us if we needed it. We would definitely stay here in the future"

"Very lovely location and very remote and safe compared to the rest of the town. The waterfall house is a full house with all amenities and is an absolutely fabulous place to stay. The cabins are cute and we had the place to ourselves but if we visit the big island again we will be sure to reserve the waterfall house for the full stay because it’s just so wonderful! Staff was very helpful, peaceful, clean and quiet."

"This was amazing! Great staff, great location AND there's even a swimming hole (5 min walk, if that) with a waterfall! I've never stayed in a shared house before, but this one has spoiled me! It's close enough to be able to drive to all the good tourist spots. Oh, and hopefully you're there for the "big" farmers market on Saturdays. If I get back to the Big Island I'll be coming back here! Thank you for the great time!"
