This quaint, surprising spacious,135 sq m EOT (Greek National Tourism Organization) licence Villa sits on the edge of Gennadi village and is a stroll away from the sparkling clean,warm and inviting Mediterranean Sea. It has a pool 4 meters by 7 meters nestled into the back garden for your relaxation and pleasure. A huge veranda equipped for Al Fresco Dining with lovely views toward the Mediterranean.
As you enter from the large porch ,on your left are two bedrooms ,one with two/4 single beds,and wardrobe ,one with a double bed,wardrobes and huge TV .On this ground level a shower room and toilet. The living area has comfortable seating, fully equipped kitchen and dining space.A feature fireplace and a further large TV FREE AIR/CN AND FREE INTERNET
The Villa is stylish and extremely comfortable and will be in high demand as its location and charm makes it stand out from the rest!!

A lovely private villa in a quiet location but walking distance to village centre and some great restaurants. The villa was clean and comfortable with a good sized pool and Dimitri was a friendly and helpful host. He also owns one of the restaurants in the village which serves great food, has good customer service and holds fun greek nights (Taverna Temptation)

Our "grown-up" family had a great time in Dimitri's villa in Gennadi. The villa has a great format, the pool and grounds were great. I highly recommend Dimitri's restaurant.

Very nice house and surroundings

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The house is spacious, has two patios, a nice pool, several fruittrees and various plants. The village with some very good restaurants is reachable within 10 minutes by foot and the beach within 15 minutes. In June it wasn't overcrowded yet and it was a peaceful atmosphere.

Great location and nice pool

The house is more or less as advertised. We had a great time enjoying the beautiful pool set amongst fruit trees, and the very quiet surroundings. There was an ant problem in the house, but the owner was quick to respond and drop off ant spray. Also there's no A/C in the main living area of the house. The owner brought over a fan which helped cool down the space. The bedrooms A/C worked great. Overall it was a nice space and the owner was very nice.

Relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

Easy access to Gennadi by foot from the property for local shops, bars and restaurants. The property was clean and tidy with regular cleaning of villa, pool and garden. Attractive villa with plenty of shade, (especially relaxing on the veranda). The owner, Dimitri was very helpful on arrival, showing us around and explaining everything about the villa. (Would have preferred a washing machine instead of the dishwasher, although there is a launderette in the village!). Enjoyed a number of evenings at his restaurant where his staff were very friendly and welcoming. A great holiday.

Villa in Gennadi

Gennadi is a perfect greek village with plenty of good restaurants to eat out in; we enjoyed our stay and would go back again. The villa we had was good all round, the pool was a real highlight and we wouldn't be without it. The 100m or so walk along the main road to the village has no footway so didn't feel completely safe when walking along with our 6 year old child. The villa has steep staircase to the upper floor which means it wouldn't be suitable for young children of those with impaired mobility/have trouble climbing stairs. Bearing this in mind, we would highly recommend Gennadi and the Villa, and we thank Dimitri for all his help with our arrangements and his warm hospitality.

This place has aged well since the photos were taken. Now there are beautiful fruit trees around the pool it feels immersed in nature.We gorged on grapes from the vines and used lemons on our salads. The plums were good too.The pool itself needs a little tlc as a few tiles have come off... im sure its on his todo list.The sofa is now a comfy leather one, not the hard wooden one in photo. And there are sun beds around the pool. Its all super comfy! Traditional styling, with modern needs.I asked for a fan as soon as we got there worried it would get too hot after reading the previous review, but we never used it. If you leave the aircon on in both downstairs bedrooms and leave the bedroom doors open, the whole house is cool.Yes, there are tiny ants around, but just dont leave crumbs around and it really isnt a problem.The landlord was really on it. We needed a few extra bits while we were there (like a new kettle as the old one broke) and the next day he popped it round.The family also run a restaurant in the village... temptation i think it was called. Wow! What sensational food! I basically want to live in this house.

Beautiful clean, well equipped villa with a very helpful & welcoming owner

Four adults staying in this beautiful well equipped villa. There was loads of room, a bedroom to spare and we, both couples, had a bathroom each. The villa has air-conditioning and is very clean and comfortable. Well stocked cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery etc good american size fridge/freezer which was necessary for provisions to stock up as the supermarket is a fair walk away, easy for us having the car though. Dimitri the owner was there to meet us on arrival and kindly emailed all details and directions from the airport, he also left us welcome provisions, bread, wine, milk, juice and gorgeous homemade fig jam and the linen was changed mid week. The swimming pool was small but plenty big enough set in a lovely garden with fruit trees and sago palms with ample sun loungers and two lovely patios for outside dining with plenty of comfy chairs and a large BBQ. Couldn't fault the place at all except for the first three nights we got bitten by mozzy's so don't forget your screen spray. We hired a car for the week which was necessary for getting around sight seeing around the beautiful island of Rhodes.

Ein gelungener Urlaub

Wir waren in diesem schönen Haus mit fünf Personen und hatten ausreichend Platz. Der Garten mit Pool wurde von uns ausgiebig genutzt. Dimitri war ein hervorragender Vermieter, der sich liebevoll kümmerte. Auch die Nähe zu dem freundlichen Ort Gennadi ist wunderbar. Wir hatten alles in allem eine sehr schöne Zeit.

Sehr schönes Haus, mit allem, was benötigt wird. Der Hausbesitzer Dimitri ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend! Wir können das Objekt nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Seine Taverne ist ein Traum. Es hat uns wieder einmal wunderbar in Griechenland gefallen!

Wonderful stay at Villa Rosila

I had a very enjoyable 10 days at Villa Rosila in late June and early July. The Villa is very comfortable and the pool and gardens are great. There is a table and chairs at both the front and back of the property that always allows shade when eating. The Villa is well equipped and is a short walk from the centre of Gennadi where there are several good restaurants, a small supermarket, bars and fruit and vegetable shop. Dimitri the host is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The beach is clean and relatively quiet with a couple of restaurants on the seafront. We hired quad bikes for a day that allowed us to tour around the southern end of the island. The hire shop is less than 5 minutes away from the Villa. I will be happy to return to Villa Rosila and Gennadi.

Eigentlich sehr schön aber wir hatten Pech

Zuerst die positiven Seiten - Gennadi ist ein optimaler Ort um dem Massentourismus zu entkommen, einen sehr schönen, dennoch nicht überfüllten Strand zu haben. Auch das Dorf ist nett, das Restaurant des Besitzers empfehlenswert. Das Haus ist sehr praktisch für zwei Parteien durch 2 separate Badezimmer und ausreichend Platz. Der Pool und die zwei Terrassen sind ebenfalls ein echter Bonus. Dennoch gibt es ein paar Kritikpunkte: - der Strand ist nicht wie angegeben ein paar Schritte sondern 800 m entfernt - die angegebene Waschmaschine existierte gar nicht - nebenan ist ein Haus mit aktuell mehreren Hunden, die nicht gerade leise sind - das Haus liegt direkt an einer ziemlich viel befahreren Straße - eine Nachttischlampe konnte mangels Steckdose / Verlängerungsschnur nicht angeschlossen werden - die Handtücher werden nur einmal / Woche gewechselt - Zusätzlich hatten wir unter multiplen technischen Pannen zu leiden, bei deren Behebung der Vermieter sehr wenig hilfreich war und für die sich noch nicht einmal bei uns entschuldigt hat - dreimal waren die Abflußrohre verstopft mit Fäkalien in der Dusche - zwei Tage funktonierte die Solaranlage nicht - die Alarmanlage nervte zwischendurch mit anhaltenden Alarmen Bei allen Problemen mußten wir teilweise mehrfach eine Lösung einfordern und wurden auch noch verdächtigt, das Problem (des Abflusses) selbst verschuldet zu haben - ingesamt wirkte der Vermieter deutlich überlastet, hat teilweise auf Nachrichten gar nicht reagiert. Wenn die technischen Probleme nicht gewesen wären, hätten wir unseren Urlaub deutlich mehr genießen können, ohne diese Probleme wäre es trotz der oben genannten Punktabzüge aber eine runde Sache gewesen, das sieht man ja auch aus den anderen positiven Bewertungen.

Très bon séjour

Très agréable maison en périphérie de Gennadi. Tout est accessible à pied : centre du village et restaurants en 10 min , de même à 10 min d’une plage très propre de petits galets. Mer limpide. Très belle piscine que le propriétaire Dimitri vient entretenir régulièrement. Il y a aussi une douche extérieure et des bains de soleil. Dimitri est très soucieux du bien être de ses hôtes. Il est d’ailleurs restaurateur dans le village et sa cuisine est de grande qualité et pas chère du tout. Pour en revenir à la maison : climatisation efficace dans les chambres et deux terrasses exposées différemment pour avoir toujours une table à l’ombre du petit déjeuner au dîner. C’est appréciable quand il fait très chaud. Des arbres fruitiers dans le jardin et en particulier une magnifique vigne qui a fait notre bonheur. Un détail à savoir : pas de machine à laver donc il faut prévoir du linge en quantité suffisante Nous recommandons cette location.

Alles perfekt !

Wir waren 14 Tage im Oktober 2020 auf Rhodos und waren begeistert. Unsere Unterkunft, die Villa Rosila in Gennadi ist toll und sehr empfehlenswert. Drei Schlafzimmer, zwei Badezimmer, ein großer Wohn-Küchenbereich, alles sehr ansprechend und gemütlich gestaltet. Den schönen Pool in der Außenanlage haben wir täglich mehrfach genutzt. Es gibt zwei Terrassen zum Sitzen, so dass man immer die Möglichkeit hat, im Schatten oder in der Sonne zu essen. Das ganze Haus war bei unserer Anreise sehr sehr sauber, der Vermieter sofort zur Schlüsselübergabe zur Stelle. Dimitri ist sehr gastfreundlich und absolut hilfsbereit. Auch sein Restaurant im Dorf Gennadi, das gut zu Fuß zu erreichen ist, haben mehrfach gern besucht und hier sehr lecker gegessen. Die Lage der Villa ist ideal um Rhodos zu erkunden, auch wenn wir schon zum 3. Mal auf der Insel waren, haben wir noch viele schöne Gegenden und Strände entdeckt. Wunderschönes Haus! Entspannung pur!

Wir waren zu fünft (4 Erwachsene, 1 Kind) für 12 Tage in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft. Alles sehr sauber, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Der Vermieter Dimitri ist äußerst gastfreundlich und sofort zur Stelle, falls notwendig. Der Pool im schön angelegten Garten war immer eine tolle Abkühlung oder Erfrischung am Morgen. Die Terasse vor dem Haus bot uns immer angenehmen Schatten, wir verbrachten dort gerne am großen Tisch den Abend mit einem Gläschen Wein. Das Dorf Gennadi ist nur ein paar Gehminuten entfernt, hat einige Tavernen in denen man gut essen kann. 2-3 Bars und einen kleinen Supermarkt, der alles hat was man braucht. Es gibt ausserdem noch eine Bäckerei und zwei Geschäfte mit frischem Obst und Gemüse. Der Strand vor Ort ist ein grober Kiesstrand, wir sind daher knapp 10 Minuten mit dem Auto zur Glystra Beach gefahren, die einen schönen und nicht überlaufenen Sandstrand hat. Auch gut zum Schnorcheln... Wir möchten uns hiermit ganz herzlich bei Dimitri bedanken, es hat uns super gefallen, wir haben den Urlaub in vollen Zügen genossen! Private, spacious and conveniently located

We very much enjoyed our 8 days at Villa Rosila this August. A lovely villa, exceptionally clean and tidy inside. Our two children enjoyed having a room each and we were all very happy to have air conditioning in the bedrooms. It benefits from a lovely patio both at the front and the rear of the house, perfect for breakfast and dinner al fresco. The pool was also lovely to have. For us the villa has the perfect location, 10 minutes walk to the gorgeous pebbly beach and just under that into the small, cosy town centre. Gennadi was wonderful as it feels very much like a local Rhodes town with a sprinkling of tourists, rather than a beach resort with a dusting of local inhabitants, this suited us extremely well. The beach was never crowded, in fact far from it! Some lovely restaurants too. The best gyros most definitely to be had from Dimitri's own place on the main walk through town. From the outset Dimitri was amazingly helpful and a delight to deal with throughout. Thank you for making us feel so welcome Dimitri and for letting us have such an amazing holiday in your lovely villa! We certainly hope to return!

Un séjour tres plaisant

Une maison spacieuse et bien équipée Nous avons apprécié les deux terrasses, pour le matin ou pour le soir, le jardin fleuri et ses grappes de raisin et bien sur la piscine et ses transats! Et en plus un bon wifi pour ceux qui l'utilise, un accès aisé et un hôte serviable .

Excelent property and people to rent from.

Stayed here for 7 nights 3rd June - 10th June 2018. Villa was very clean and Dimitris was very accommodating with our requests. Weather was superb so the pool and air conditioning in the Villa were fantastic. We'll be back!

Paradise!

This villa is a paradise! all possible amenities, a beautiful swimming pool illuminated by night, barbecue, etc. Dimitris is a fantastic person, very kind and helpful. Throughout your stay it is as if we were at home. Very special holiday. We will be back very soon.

Beautiful villa

A perfect holiday and just what we needed, relaxing quiet and a short walk to beach and the small village We had three wonderful weeks with all our family arriving at different times ,dimitrius and his wife were most accommodating and extremely helpful with good directions from the airport and catering for the fact we had different people arriving at different times during our stay We found some lovely tavernas along the beach the food was lovely but I think our favourite place was mamas kitchen where we were looked after very well Also the take away gyros place was great for the youngsters and very good value for money and such fast service . Thank you for letting us rent your beautiful home we shall return as I am missing it already . Rita and Steve

in one word : fantastic

We recommend villa Rosila warmly. We have rented many homes throughout Europe, but this is surely one of the top three houses. Very clean, spacious and air conditioned. The garden is well maintained and there is a lovely pool. Even more important is the hospitality of the owner Dimitri and his wife Anna. Hard to match. We have greatly enjoyed three weeks carefree holiday .... thanks for that yet. in dutch : Wij bevelen villa Rosila van harte aan. Wij hebben veel huizen gehuurd door heel Europa maar dit behoort toch wel tot de top 3 huizen. Erg schoon, ruim en voorzien van airco. De tuin is goed onderhouden en er is een heerlijk zwembad. Nog belangrijker is de gastvrijheid van de eigenaar Dimitri en zijn vrouw Anna. Nauwelijks te evenaren. Wij hebben enorm genoten van drie weken onbezorgde vakantie....dank nog daarvoor.
