A short distance from the village Ialyssos, 6km from the main City of Rhodes, in a quiet location with a friendly atmosphere of the countryside, the property 'PYRGOS' ('Tower') is ideal for relaxation, rejuvenation, in a natural olive grove with an excellent climate. Ideal for all seasons, combines mountain and sea. Just 500 meters away from the beautiful beach of Ialyssos, for swimming and water sports. Also 300 meters from the mountain of Philerimos for beautiful walks in nature.
ACCOMMODATION SERVICES
According to local traditional architecture, built in a compound on two levels, from natural stone with wood elements , is providing luxurious décor with modern amenities. Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, bedroom with double bed, dining area and living room that can accommodate another two people (total of 4). A large terrace on the first floor and a ground floor patio, offers the opportunity to enjoy the natural environment, for the kids to play in the garden, BBQ and outdoor dining under a wooden pergola. It also includes protected parking, TV, DVD,Wi-Fi.
Visitors can come in direct contact with nature and enjoy tasting local products of Rhodes.
ACTIVITIES
Bike riding (after agreement), hiking, swimming in the sea, water sports (surf), visits to unique archaeological and medieval sights (the Medieval City of Rhodes is designated as a World Heritage site of UNESCO).

Gute Ferienwohnung

Die Vermieterin konnte man immer per WhatsApp schreiben und es kam immer eine schnelle und zuverlässige Antwort zurück. So war der Check-In und der Check-Out einfach und unkompliziert. Die Wohnung ist wie beschrieben, die Lage ist gut für den Preis. Das einzige was zu bemängeln war, dass die Wohnung etwas dreckig war als wir eingezogen sind.

INCREDIBLE HOUSE, BEAUTIFULLY CONSTRUCTED, GREAT HOLIDAY BASE.

My wife and I have just returned from our stay (2nd - 16th Sept '17) and we want to say that this property is a very beautiful and relaxing place to spend your holiday in. It has a single large bedroom on the first floor that is a joy to behold. It has a double door leading onto a private sun patio. The kitchen is adequate for those who wish to cook and there are relaxing sofas and decent air conditioning on the lower and upper floors. You can park your hire car in the off-road driveway. There are many elements of the house that are very beautiful and make it well worth the money. So, to the lack of a fifth star. The house itself - as that is what we are talking about, is really worth five stars no problem and we did have a great holiday there. Through no fault of Pyrgos' owner there is a doggy barky behavioury problem with a couple of local dogs (I found it varied between a 4-6 out of 10 occasionally) - not their fault really but more their irresponsible owners not practicing behavioural control. So, if you do decide to go for this place as despite this it is still worth it, here's where the audience participation bit comes in (if it annoys you that is) to help rid the place of this problem permanently and for the good of all. I have reported the problem to the person at this department: Mrs Mary Thymianou email address: dod-thimianou_m@gnto.gr One or two other details are that the bathroom sink has a slight fixture issue. The condensate removal pipe for the upper bedroom is inadequately routed causing dripping from the kitchen ceiling at various places. Oh and finally the well outside? It's a real one and is inadequately covered - parents with kids take note. All these points have been reported to the owner. All said, this is a great place, airily designed by Regina the architect owner and you will have a great time here. Regards, John & Susan.
