"This is a unique place that seems to be a labor of love for the owners. It is NOT corporate. Breakfasts were creative and good. Radium is a small town and some of the restaurants were booked up. We stayed 3 nights and ate at the "Horsethief" bar across the street, which was surprisingly good. The best part for us was easy access to trails in the Kootenai National Park. The Radium Hot Springs were nice, too."

Our assigned parking spot was being used by other people as a party area and the manager did not ask them to move and had to park by the road. When we entered the suite is smelt badly of smoke and the the carpet had stains all over it and there were several bugs that were scurrying around the floor. I believe it was taken over two years ago and it’s gone downhill. outside of the property, mainly the landscaping is terrible. The breakfast was a joke. Staff have zero personality. "We had a quick one night stay here with kids as we wanted to spend time in Radium hot springs. The location of this chalet is beautiful and tucked in nature. It’s a pity that the room and amenities are not upto par. The rooms are spacious, beds were comfortable, TV in both rooms, however furniture update is needed- no table or chairs for eating/dining. "The two rooms we first entered stunk of heavy air deodorant and the other of cigarette smoke. We had to change rooms two times before we found a room that didn’t have a gross smell. I would not recommend."

"We thought Tim, the owner was great! All contact with staff was efficient and helpful. There is a large community space that we enjoyed. The breakfast was not what we loved.
