"Would've given 5 stars except that the location, while breathtakingly beautiful and beholden to a sunrise that will leave you breathless, the location is HOT. Ramona is 20°F hotter than San Diego, despite being only 40 min away. And everything is 40 min away via winding mountain roads. The property is amazingly spacious and met all our needs. The pool was beautiful, and the pool table was fun. Extra fridge in the garage allowed us to get a weeks worth of groceries. Special props to the host...

"This place is a quiet little gem. All you hear are the birds chirping outside. There was homemade banana bread in our room and cold water in the fridge after a very long drive from Phoenix.. their backyard is like an oasis in paradise. "Comfortable, delightful country house on acres of property. Quiet and peaceful, they have almost everything you would need, minus actual groceries. There was even a pair of binoculars we used to supplement the telescope we brought for stargazing. The hot tub was a hit with all of us."

"Our party of 14 enjoyed our 3-night stay here! The home was clean, spacious, well-stocked kitchen and linen closet, and has plenty of amenities to entertain all ages! We never felt crowded in the home and enjoyed the sunrise and sunset views. "Absolutely beautiful property just outside of Lakeside, CA. We selected this location due to it's proximity to my cousin's condo, and it was perfect. House was immaculate, beds were comfortable, and everything was as described! We couldn't have asked for nicer hosts."
