"Loved the room and location. It was very clean and much better than expected! the only thing was that I wished the tv was already connected to a WiFi for us to watch tv at the end of the night, very annoying to have to try 3 diff connections and complicated passwords. However, not a deal breaker and would stay here again."

"My wife and I greatly enjoyed our two-night stay. The kitchen and bathrooms were renovated and well-fitted. The bed was comfortable and all the systems (WiFi, hot water, laundry, etc) worked great. We can recommend this apartment when visiting Seattle."

"We had never been to this area and the house was the perfect home base to use to explore the area. There’s a lot of beaches and state parks to enjoy on the island and we also explored the area’s other features including Port Townsend and wineries/cideries. The house was beautifully maintained and comfortable and we loved being there and on the water. "

"We had never been glamping before; this getaway must be the perfect example of it! Every need was anticipated and met. The "cabin" is easy to get to, but feels miles away from the world. "The Abode On the Sea is very charming. The bed was especially comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. The view is spectacular! I especially appreciate the hot water on demand and great water pressure. The abode is very accessible to the lovely town of Winslow/Bainbridge Ferry and other attractions like several beaches, the Grand Forest and a quick drive to the Rolling Bay Area and Bloedel Reserve (a must see natural delight).
