The Apartment

You'll enjoy a spacious, recently renovated, fully equipped three-bedroom, two-bathroom, beach view two-story penthouse features:

-The 1,367-square-feet penthouse is located on the third floor of building 17 within the Emotions by Hodelpa Puerto Plata Resort, a highly rated resort with 4.5 out of 5 stars on TripAdvisor the same time; this hotel is in Playa Dorada Complex, which comprises about eight resorts and is a fully gated community where you can walk safely and find a shopping center, golf course, and international restaurants.

-The Master Suite is located on the first floor, and it has a private bathroom, one king bed, a beach view, direct access to the balcony, and a dedicated workspace.

-Second floor: Two bedrooms, two queen beds, shared bathroom, and laundry area.

-You'll enjoy multiple places in the apartment with beach views. The beach shore is less than 100 feet away from the building. Plenty of beach chairs are available throughout the hotel pools and beach. As our guest, you'll have access to a private pool beach club.

-The kitchen is completely equipped with all you might need to cook a full meal.

You can purchase Emotions by Hodelpa Puerto Plata's all-inclusive food and beverage program, priced per day and person. Children 6 to 12 pay 50% of the adult rate, while children from 1 to 5 are free.

The following is a breakdown per program. Note the prices are in US dollars:

-Daily all-inclusive: water, soft drinks, domestic beer, and domestic liquor included. Free meals at any of the available restaurants. The cost is from $59 to $65 per adult.

- Premium All-Inclusive Package: water, soft drinks, domestic and international beer and beer, and domestic liquor. Food at any of the available restaurants. Costs from $85 to $95 per person per adult.

- Dine-out program a la carte: If you want to dine out at one of the resort's restaurants without buying the all-inclusive package, you are also welcome to do that. The dine-out a la carte includes drinks, appetizers, a main course, and dessert. The cost is $40 per person (no child discount), except for the Aroma (excluded) and Egos buffet. Egos buffet pricing is $15 for breakfast, lunch $20, and dinner $25 per person per meal.

Places to visit in Puerto Plata.
- 27 CHARCOS DE DAMAJAGUA: Puerto Plata's crown jewel attraction offers a day of hiking through thick forest, crossing footbridges, and passing numerous flora before eventually reaching a rocky hilltop where you'll begin making your way down by jumping or sliding down a series of waterfalls!
- AIRPORT WALL: A favorite of the area, the Airport Wall is considered one of the best and most beautiful dive sites in the DR. Beginning at about 10 meters (33 feet) and dropping to almost 30 meters (98 feet), it is one of the richest sites in coral and marine life, with pinnacles and tunnels.
- AMBER ROUTE: The DR is known for producing some of the world's most transparent and oldest ambers, mined in Puerto Plata. Tour amber mines where the stone is unearthed, in the hills of La Cumbre, passing entrances to holes that run 61 meters deep (200 feet), and watch workers reappear with stones in hand.
- ANFITEATRO LA PUNTILLA: A stunning outdoor Grecian amphitheater facing the Atlantic Ocean, flanked by the San Felipe Fort on one side and a verdant La Puntilla park. Concerts and other artistic events are occasionally held here.
- BAHÍA DE LUPERÓN: Beige-colored beach with large rocks and a swimmable area. Tourists will often stop by before or after a visit to the close-by historic La Isabela site, the first European settlement in the New World. Western Puerto Plata.
- BRUGAL RUM DISTILLERY: The largest producer of traditionally made rum in the DR since 1888, offers tours of the distillery, including rum tasting and the chance to purchase well-priced premium rums.
- CAYO ARENA: Cayo Arena offers schools of tropical fish that can also easily be seen in shallow turquoise waters, making this spot a paradise for snorkeling fans; the area boasts some of the most abundant marine life in the DR, with corals and sponges, and schools of tropical fish swimming around your feet.
- OCEAN WORLD ADVENTURE PARK: This interactive aquarium and marina let visitors swim with dolphins, pet stingrays, and play with sea lions. There are even tigers!
- Fort San Felipe: Built in 1564 to defend against pirates, San Felipe is one of the oldest European forts in the Americas.
