"Two nights staying with Richmond made us wonderful experience in Kyoto. Ice cream time and social time with Japanese drinks were awesome! Breakfast was good to manage all day. Room was small but all good to organize luggage under beds. Absolutely, i want to revisit here. "

"This was a unique property to stay at for our Japan trip. The property was beautiful and was definitely an experience I recommend. Staff was so helpful when first arriving. They try their best to explain things, especially with a language barrier for myself. The hospitality was exceptional. Would recommend anyone to stay here. A little far of a walk from the main station with luggage so maybe a take a taxi. And have them take you to the check-in area instead of the property itself."

Free coffee in the restaurant told by other guests. Very young children were playing / swimming in the hot pool that is very distracting and unpleasant. Also making a mess and wasting lots of water in the cleaning section. Would recommend that they are restricted to certain time slots. "

Our room was also very spacious, and featured a japanese style shower which was super cool (and absolutely spotless as well!). The staff was also very kind and helpful. We would definitely recommend staying here - we had a very comfortable stay as a family with a young child.
