"Extremely clean 3 bedroom caravan in a lovely woodland setting next to the coast. Friendly host who ensured that we had all that we needed for a really enjoyable stay. Would recommend for families. "

"Staff all very good. I had a problem with the toilet seat and they fixed it during the day while I was out. Food and drinks service good. No noise in my room from the wedding party. Only issue for me was the room window was very small and high up in the wall, so I couldn’t see out, and the sky light had no covering, so being Scotland, I had daylight from 5:30am waking me up. Not the worst problem in the world. Wonderful park like location, and again, all the staff were wonderful."

"Lovely friendly staff and super easy parking. Our room was very hot and on checkout they said we should have had a fan but we didn’t . Pillows were like hard which I get some people may like but no alternatives in room . The floorboards were all very noisy and squeaky . We were worried we were disturbing people below . Also £5 to get any ice ! Seems a bit expensive ! It is a bit tired looking and our room could do with a refresh . But that said the staff were lovely and made the place ."

"The rooms were a bit dated but the country club was great and it is super peaceful at night we never really got to enjoy the amenities as we checked in late in the evening and checked out early next day but the hotel was good"

"The hotel was very convenient to stay at the night before my morning international flight. The check in staff were very helpful, the room was perfectly functional and spotless. I would absolutely stay here again. While I didn’t get the opportunity to try out any of the amenities, the hotel overall had warm, welcoming vibes - the lounge/bar area looked like a great spot to sit and enjoy a drink."

"Beautiful looking property on the outside with the main areas inside full of history, one of the most historic looking hotelsi have stayed at, however, with all this charm you are led to expect the same for the room! I was staying in a " Classic " room. Whilst i appreciate this is not a suite, the room was very tired and shabby. The bathroom was tiny, barely room to move. The carpets old and filthy. The rooms need completely redocrating. At nearly £190 per night for a tiny shabby room is...

"There’s no air conditioning whatsoever, and Scotland does, despite its reputation, get hot in summer. There was no way to cool down the room, as the windows were stupidly restricted to open only two inches. Neither my wife nor I could sleep and this is not acceptable for a hotel that costs close to $300 a night"

"Everything was quite wonderful - exceeded our expectations. The only glitch was with the taxi we had requested for 3:30 am. I even followed up a couple days beforehand to confirm and rec'd an email confirmation yet come that morning there was no record of the reservation. Fortunately the gentleman on duty was able to get us in a taxi that was coming for another guest (who was amenable to our joining them) so we made our flight. The night manager was extremely helpful and personable."

"Overall, I had an awesome experience at this hotel. The room was clean, in decent condition, and the shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The restaurant downstairs was decent. We had a server who was awesome but I never got his name. The hotel is near a university and there are plenty of walking paths to enjoy if you like to get out and about.
