"Our stay at Il Magàn was great! The staff was friendly and the room was clean. Staying in Corniglia was perfect for us, as it is the smallest and least busy of the five towns. It served as a great home base to explore between our time in the other towns. The breakfast was our favourite part of the stay. There was no additional cost (which we had in almost every other place we stayed), it offered great variety, and the portions were large! You can literally pick anything/as much as you’d like off...

"Our host was wonderful, helpful and friendly. She helped us book a private boat excursion and obtain the pass for the park which included most access fees and bus. The property has exceptional views of the sunset, a beautiful balcony and cave living room to use anytime. The balcony was our favourite, we were able to have our dinner out there, but used our room one night when the balcony was being used by another guest. We had just as good views. The only downside if you’re a light sleeper is...

"Nice hotel. VERY close to train station (50 yards). No elevator in hotel, internet spotty on 3rd floor. Breakfast typical continental however they will prepare an excellent omelet for you if you ask. Staff, especially Evelina, were super friendly and helpful. Definitely would stay here again. "

"Einfaches, aber sehr schönes, kleines Hotel mit einer wahnsinnig schönen Aussicht. Unsere Anreise mit dem Auto war etwas abenteuerlich, da die Straße teilweise sehr schmal und extrem kurvig ist. Die Unterkunft is oben in den Bergen, nicht direkt in Vernazza. Bei unserer Ankunft war kein Personal vorhanden. Wir haben den Check-in telefonisch gemacht. Hat auch funktioniert. Das Frühstück war lecker. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hierher kommen."

" Very clean and modern and nice looking rooms and hotel and 1 min walk to train station was very convenient to get around and see cinque terre. Will stay again. "

"Had some difficulty getting to the right spot, maybe specific instructions where you meet would be good. It was hot when we got there and that made for 4 cranky people, but once settled, it was wonderful! Linens were offered each day, loved doing a little bit of laundry for the essentials (ring it out good or be yelled at). Host was wonderful! Would for sure stay again! "
