"We had a room with double and single bed. It was very clean - couldn't fault that. I felt it was in a rather run down and ugly location - wouldn't ever return to that area of Sheffield. The view from our window was terrible - made area look derelict. So many things in the room were dated and chipped, including paintwork and had seen better days. "This hotel really did represent value for money on a weekend where the city was busy due to a famous comedian performing. The hotel is central and only a five minute walk from the train station. Staff helpful, communal spaces lovely for a drink in the evening. "Such a weird place. The bathroom must of had 6 bars in it. One of which was just under the shower head, meaning your body was either against the cold metal bar or the curtain stuck to you. There was a sign in the room stating that you needed to close the bathroom door while showering or you would set off the fire alarm with steam. Glad this was a one night experience."
