"Parking wasnt great on 3 spaces for the property so had to park at the top of hill and carry luggage down. Staff and room was lovely, room smelt fresh and was clean we was right next to main foor but could not hear much noise. Check in/out was quick and straight forward. Would recommend hotel. "

"Lovely hotel, with lovely clean, well appointed rooms. We stayed on a Saturday when the football was on next door, but other than the lobby being busier you wouldn’t have known. Lad at reception was friendly and the Hilton chocolate chip cookie was a nice touch. Only thing to consider would be perhaps providing the option for a firmer pillow, but appreciate this is entirely personal preference. "

"Staff are very friendly. I had to leave early on the last day and they were happy to supply paper bags so I could bring my breakfast with me. There are a few stains on the carpet but otherwise very clean. I have a larger car so I couldn't use the nearby car park as it has a 1.8 height restriction "

"Staff were friendly, and the room as nice, but a couple of issues, check-in at 2 but the room wasn't ready until gone 2.30, no toilet roll was left in the room. Pillows could be a little firmer and TV reception needs to be improved. Bath lovely and breakfast was nice"

"Never stayed at an Ibis before and for the money didn’t expect it to be as good as it was. Hotel receptionist was very friendly when we checked in. I like the fact that the only way to reach the lift is by using key card so no easy access. Room was very clean and well thought out. Bathroom spotless. Only problem was the bathroom door which stuck a bit so noisy to shut if using during the night and trying not to wake your friend. Bed was twin but actually a double separated so quite close to each...

"We wanted somewhere close to Hillsborough Stadium, and The Queens Ground fit the bill perfectly. Our room above the pub was clean, comfortable, and quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. The pub itself is a proper local’s boozer - warm, welcoming, and full of character, with reasonably priced drinks. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Would happily stay again."

"Rooms are motel style and are dated (don’t be fooled by the online photos) but room was clean, breakfast was good and staff were all fantastic and very accommodating with late check out, late breakfast (made to order so we could eat after Hillsborough Parkrun) and parking for the Wednesday match. Perfect location for Hillsborough Parkrun and Hillsborough stadium, will definitely be back! Thank you! "

"Hotel is a disappointment considering its reputation. The rooms were cold, old and badly lit, with poor quality mattresses where the springs could be felt, and quilts so thin our kids were sleeping in jumpers and bathrobes. "

"The breakfast was great, the internet was fast, the staff were ok, and the gym was basic but adequate. The carpet in the room appeared to be old and ready to be changed, it made the room feel dirty. During my visit they were replacing fire doors so there was a bit of noise during the days but not unbearable. Very close to the trains for easy access, close to a supermarket and a retail shopping centre."

"The staff here are amazing and more than make up for the basic amenities. As a wheelchair user, rooms are on the small side. On the negative side, because this is an economy hotel, you literally get all kinds staying (including an idiot who pulled a fire alarm at 3am and another who was smoking pot in their room), but the staff were quick to address issues.
