"The rooms were a little dated, but otherwise they were spacious and comfortable. Having the seperate bedrooms was perfect for our family. Access to a full kitchen and washer/dryer was so convenient. The location was excellent, view was beautiful. I would stay again."

"Water pressure was super low and it took 45 minutes to take a warm bath. We weren’t able to get the water hot. Closet was broken and needed replacement. Air conditioning could use some tuning it was really warm in the middle of the night and because of preset temperatures on gages we couldn’t really drop temperature to our normal. "The hotel itself is kind of rundown. Everything is worn out or just painted over blemishes. The checkin staff was fantastic as was the gentleman who helped with beach amenities. The beach amenities were awesome. Since we flew in there was no ability for us to bring a bunch of beach toys but they had unlimited towels for free to use. They also had boogie boards, large umbrellas and beach chairs to rent for a reasonable price. The beach is open to the public but felt exclusive for the hotel and...

I am so pleased that I have found this wonderful hide-a-way and will absolutely return. It is not your usual place but if you value authenticity and charm then this would be the place for you. "The hotel was great! You literally don’t have to leave for anything if you don’t want to. However, if you do like to get out, there’s tons of restaurants in walking distance. The beach is no more than 13 minutes away, and there’s a cool Kava bar right across the street. I truly enjoyed my stay and felt safe!"

"My 10 day stay at PortD’Hiver B&B was a real pleasure. Great location, great rooms , great breakfasts, great staff, and quite possibly the best cookies I’ve ever had !! 😊 I only wish they had a restaurant on the premises, but there are several within a short walking distance. I’m looking forward to staying there again."
