"This was true old florida! What a remarkable stay with a treasureful of sweet surprises in how attentive and calming this resort is. I am so pleased that I have found this wonderful hide-a-way and will absolutely return. It is not your usual place but if you value authenticity and charm then this would be the place for you. "We enjoyed our stay very much, the staff was excellent, helpful and friendly. We forgot our toothbrushes and promptly the staff located replacements , plus cold bottled water. We were very pleased. The breakfast was tasty and delicious with a wide variety of breakfast items. A very conscientious employee was constantly replacing food and wiping all countertops while smiling and singing. "Water pressure was super low and it took 45 minutes to take a warm bath. We weren’t able to get the water hot. Closet was broken and needed replacement. Air conditioning could use some tuning it was really warm in the middle of the night and because of preset temperatures on gages we couldn’t really drop temperature to our normal. The views and beach were within steps of the hotel which was really nice. Expedia did not inform me of a resort fee so prepare for that during check in which includes...

"My 10 day stay at PortD’Hiver B&B was a real pleasure. Great location, great rooms , great breakfasts, great staff, and quite possibly the best cookies I’ve ever had !! 😊 I only wish they had a restaurant on the premises, but there are several within a short walking distance. "The hotel was great! You literally don’t have to leave for anything if you don’t want to. However, if you do like to get out, there’s tons of restaurants in walking distance. The beach is no more than 13 minutes away, and there’s a cool Kava bar right across the street. I truly enjoyed my stay and felt safe!"

"Would absolutely stay here again. Quick check in, hotel is newer and rooms are elegant and simple. Bathroom very nice and bed extremely comfortable. Great area you can walk to the Sprouts right across the parking lot and seemed like a safe area. Literally only thing I would change if they have those awful cheap one cup coffee makers that never work right."

"Recently updated everything felt new and clean. We had a King on the second floor with a balcony overlooking the pool. There was a separate bedroom with a separate thermostat for the bedroom and the living area, something not often found in similar hotels. The room was super spacious with a well appointed kitchen area including a Keurig coffee maker, microwave and fridge. The rate for this room was very reasonable and worth every dime. The room was quiet as well. The shower had great water...

"Everything was good; they just need to secure the pool area because from the hotel you have to use the key but if you’re outside you could pass through the gates with out key so everybody could get in."
