"My hotel room was spacious and perfectly restful and quiet. All staff were kind and helpful. I loved the location. I spent a few hours a day at the nearby Oasis Beach, which is a 5-minute walk, right behind the La Isla shopping plaza. Oasis Beach is relatively uncrowded, with more locals than tourists. For more excitement, a quick taxi ride or city bus would take me downtown."

"Clean, comfortable room in good condition with nice bath and shower, the kitchenette is a very nice perk, filtered water free of charge, awesome rooftop pool with a very good bar/grill, delicious complimentary made to order breakfast. The staff is super friendly. I liked the central location - very walkable to the malecon and shopping, restaurants and bars. The beach is ok, and it's right there and as others have noted you can hear the waves. If you want a better beach experience you can Uber...

"Hotel Ixaya was a gem! The staff was friendly and helpful. We called a few nights before our stay asking if we could do an earlier check in and they were accommodating. The place was tidy, clean, and had nice decor throughout. We especially liked it was conveniently located. "

Any maintenance issues we have encountered have been dealt with promptly and efficiently with follow up calls from management to assure the issue has been resolved. "

"This is a great property that we have stayed in 9 times since 2017. The grounds are beautiful and well kept, and the rooms are clean, but the furniture is dated and could use a cleaning/replacing in many of them. The staff are lovely and friendly as always. The only issue we really had was the new beach loungers….they are very uncomfortable, and some had signs of wear already. We always switched out to the older style beach chairs, and hopefully they keep some of those around! All in all, it was...

"Such a hidden gem. This place is more than a stay. It's an experience. Things to note are that you have to take a small boat to reach the property so pack light. The nature and beach are beautiful. The rooms are comfortable, clean and the perfect blend of shelter and being one with nature. The restaurant on site is superb with quality organic ingredients that create art on a plate. Staff is friendly, approachable and super helpful. Can't wait to come back. "
